Items and Magic and Stuff

Thanks, Tann. I believe the staff will fit in the girdle of many pouches. For now, I'd like to keep both, I can see each being useful in many situations. She's the only quarter staff wielder at the moment, I believe.

Now as to magic throwing glory, Siréne has a number options. I'm thinking a lightning bolt or chain lightning over at the red robes and catching the folks around the table in that. She could also take out a few with chaos. And there is always cloud kill...

Well Now................

We just got a clue to the hooded ones. Seems less likely to be friendlies now. See less like to protect them.

Now Cloud Kill won't be work so well if we are in the room too, lol.

We need to choose wishly if we have at least one more HEAVY fight ahead.

Spread out!

I think some sort of formation work would be good. I just GM'd a similar style battle in my RL SW game. In the fight, I had two waves of reinforcements which I chose not to bring into the fight after the party was devastated during the first round. The party had a higher combat capacity then the enemies (without the reinforcements) because they stayed bunched up and were hit with a rotary gun in the first round. I feel like we need to move and spread out, even if that means having the spell casters retreat and the warriors push forward. But that's just my opinion.

me...

I would do best vs. the orcs.
+4 across the board on those things.

Then there are the spells on my list.

I say hit the table first, throw the leaders into confusion.
do not spell on person but near the table just this side of it, use the table as shrapnel.

that is all.

.

Some of us need to engage the door guards first, maybe bullrushing them in order to let everyone else in the door. Now these guards are Gith, so that goes right along with the plan of attacking them before they can start BAMFing all over the place. Roan can attack #15 or #16 since Lothor and Ulthok are in position to attack #13 and #14

Anyone have ideas for our positions?

Go for It..........

Well here's what Ulthok will do. I had said earlier in suggestion post.

Ulthok uses his wand and shoots a Cone of Cold through 15,16, over to 1,2,3,4,5,6,7&8.

These Gith are all in a line of fire for the Cone. Cold has worked well for Ulthok in the past and also allows our party to move forward.

So I'd say claim your tatgets and go for it. But a coordinated attack would be best. So I figure you all will rush into the room an blast away. So someone claim the Orcs, someone claim the middle table, someone claim the ones in the back. Melee guys take out 13 & 14 Gith and kill what ever gets in our way!

Lightning Bolt

Siréne will hit the red robes with a lighting bolt, should also catch the orc, human, and gith in good armor.

Tann, what are the dimensions of the room?

...

I think Aliya should hold back a bit, and defend the casters. She still has penalties from the critical hit at the beginning of the adventure, so I'd prefer not to just throw her to the wolves. Cor and Lothor could take more of the hits, so I think they could punch through with Roan assisting them as needed. We could have Weaver on the left flank to combat the orcs with Rayne backing him up. If we do that, Sirene, Ulthok, and Aliya could attack as needed. Just looking at the current plans, I think the attack pattern is pretty well set... That is my opinion, so feel free to disregard it.
