Charm Person or Mammal

That is strange for it is on my list in the Trilogy Characters and it is in my Level 2 PHB.

OK first off I was looking for the Spell Charm Animal, which does not exist in 2ed AD&D, not the spell of Charm Person or Mammal. Saying you were casting Charm Animal threw me off.

My mistake was not knowing that a Mountain Lion is considered a type of Mammal.

So DM, please from now on to avoid such a mistake on both our parts please say the correct spell name .

I will edit the post to reflect which spell was cast but the result with the Lion remains the same

Well it seems Eol has finally returned to the Inn at last and will hopefully be resuming the roll of Divot soon.

okay, call me lazy or just in a hurry to get a post in (whichever is most entertaining) but can someone clue me in to where Divot may actually be at the moment? I've read back quite a way and, for some reason, am still trying to figure out what might have happened to the tunnelrat and where he's "supposed to be" in current game time.

I could throw together some random Divot-babble, of course, and call it a post but that's really not my "style" ( Like I have style...). Somebody stick a pin in Divot for me, please, and I'll get a post out.

he can just be with us where we are now, we are at a camp somewhere at a mountain base area, trying to find a secret door, so have him at camp with us.

...and secret doors should be on Divot's list of "Oy! Tha's me blinkin' speciallity!"

You should know I'm here to help you out

If I remember correctly RL hit you a little before the river campsite battle. After the battle the party was separated with Cor and Conall in one group and Divot, Cynil, Haila, Ulthok, Althena and Brianna in the other group.
Cor along with Kenji, a new samurai character created to take the place of Conall before Kyle decided to stay in the game, rescued Conall from certain death at the hands of the Strangers.
Just before the fight Conall had stepped into a magical trap costing him his leg and so once rescued was taken unconscious to a town called Main, where the rest of the party ended up first, to try to be saved. With the divine intervention of Odin giving Cor a spell to both heal the Pali and restore his leg Conall lived.
Few weeks later they continued up river in new canoes and reached the point where they had to leave them and continue on foot and 4 days later they arrived at the base of Drow Mountain which according to Althena was the hiding place of the sword.

At this moment in game time it is late afternoon and Ulthok and Cynil, using their shapechanging abilities, are searching for a way in while the rest of the party, thanks to Kenji, is eating an early dinner of well cooked deer meat.

Sorry if I would have thought of it I should have sent you an update on your return OOPS
