Our Magic Stuff..................

We found some stuff when we were in the floating Castle.
Ulthok will work tlo figure out what they are.
I will go back and form a list, but I want to know for sure what the wooden wand we took from the goblins does. Wands can be quite handy.

Will we be able to get our wands fully recharged by these mighty Wizards?

I will want to restore healing potions too, at least to the number we had going into the Flying Castle.

The Stuff From The Castle...............

Here's what I found so far beside the wooden Wand.

War Room:
5 potions,
3 bags of gold,
a well made expensive looking pin,
2 well-crafted bastard swords.

Lab:
So you picked up a ring or two maybe a necklace, maybe something else.

Library:
In all the searchers found and came away with:
5 tomes heavy magic in nature
2 tomes of lighter magic

From the Chamber of thee Crimson Death:
3 bags of gold
1 Potion of a watery black liquid.
2 Dark red potions the fluid as thick as blood.
A pair of jeweled Anklets
A set of Bone & Marble Dice
A wand crafted of bone
A fancy hat with a matching cloak
a set of Bagpipes.

From the Throne Room:
From Queen's body:
a Ring,
a Pin,
2 Dagger's,
Queen's clothing is very nice and well made and carries a magical taint

From the Butcher:
His meat cleaver,
boots,
a ring.
From the Advisor:
Robe,
Dagger,
Bone from inside his left leg

Dark Whisper:
Her blood covered eye which is magical and is really her eye.

This all I found so far.

Found this, there were two wands from the Goblins.
With the quick eight-minute search of the village completed, the party had gained 25 pieces of gold, 2 possible wands and 2 large 10,000 plus bags of copper coins. The two possible wands were a strange find, as there had been no Shaman among the Goblins during the fight. Nevertheless as for anything else, of value the party came up with nothing.

Edited my post

Ok Red Sector A due to a family emergency will not be able to post and its unclear how long her hiatus will be. So I went ahead and edited my post so that she never came to the door. Please reread it and please modify your posts accordingly. As such I will not post this week to give you all time to edit.

As for the magic items I seem to have misplaced the file Iding them so I may have to look each of them up. I should have them to you this weekend or next week at the latest.

Mercinary.............

I don't want to seem mercinary, but I'd guess there would be plenty of magic items avalable from the all the fallen.

So besides the stuff we found, if we were interested in something, where would be a good place to look up possible magic items that are useful?

I really like wands, they can be really handy to increase your options in a pinch. And healing magic things will come in handy to save healing spells.

DM Guide..........

Well I've looked through the lists in the back of the 2.0 DM guide and there is a bunch of stuff there. Where else might we look for magic items. I was hoping to find more healing items.

BTW I will be posting that Ulthok replentished his used items, so that what is in list character list from before is replentished. Any new items can be added.

Easy way to do this

You see a magic item in the DMG or some other AD&D place you tell me what it is and I roll and I tell you if its available or not and its price. On an item I feel may not be rt or over balance the game then of course it will be available. JK

As for restocking just tell me again what your restocking as they may not have it as these people just fought a huge battle and such stores may be used up. Never assume

Also am still working on those found Magical items so have no fear.

Ahhh Hmmmm

Not sure how to do that as I have them in book form, not on disk.

And if your asking me to copy the last three books page by page, dude we need to talk a hourly wage, cause that will take weeks

items

items...

i'd figure Alyia would need either new armor or major repairs to her existing armor (from being sliced in half... T_T)

i'm not sure what state her sword/daggers would be in if not in need of reforging

if were going to be flying i'd figure we'd need warmer clothing ...?

Cold Weather Outfit
A cold weather outfit includes a wool coat, linen shirt, wool cap, heavy cloak, thick pants or skirt, and boots. This outfit grants a +5 circumstance bonus on Fortitude saving throws against exposure to cold weather.

or

seeings i had Alyia toss her last outfit i'd have her pick up a replacement. though with the recent battle i'd be suspicious of anything of decent quality...haha

Traveler's Outfit
This set of clothes consists of boots, a wool skirt or breeches, a sturdy belt, a shirt (perhaps with a vest or jacket), and an ample cloak with a hood.

you could have her trade her embroidery hoop/thread for more yarn... hee hee never enough yarn

the wine skins, Bandages, Oil of Fiery Burning, any/all healing potions. would need to be restocked if possible.

an odd thought could who'm ever barters for the goods use the Eye Glasses of Charming Alyia has to get a better deal? or would that be to devious of our do gooders??

what if anything would i look for/find for Xin??

Stuff

I'm really not sure what to say as far as items to look for - there are so many "out there" that it is hard to say, "do you have this one."

Specifically, I think Lothor would still have space for something at the neck - an amulet, pendant, torc sort of thing. He also, I believer could add a pair of gloves to his outfit. And, of course, potions are always great. Like, say a bunch of potions of flying. But healing potions are nifty.

I'd rather pull from a list you might generate, but I can name a few. Things like an Amulet of Health, vampire torc or Torc of Heroic Sacrifice to name a few. But there are so many . . . .

I apologize

I know your ID of the found Magical items is taking longer then expected but I lost the original file and am redoing them all from scratch.

So please be patient with me and I'll have them to you shortly

DM Guide...........

Nomad, do have a copy of the 2.0 DM Guide?
In the back are lists of items. These are the most common in 2.0 games. Then there are the Encyclopedia Magica Vol 1 - 4.
Those are harder to find free. I have a DM guide you can douwnload and possible the vol. 1 & 3 of EM.

I set up a Dropbox site and can send you a link, I have other 2.0 books there too.

Lothor is still getting use to magic so I'd say he wouldn't go nuts getting stuff. There my be better armor and weapons available.

Anyway I could email you the Dropbox link and you could go there and see what you might like to use.

Rats............

Well I just had a first. I've been using a 4gig flash drive to backup my files. I had backups of all my games and all my handbooks, music and photos. Well drive took a dump. When I plug it in it says file empty, but if I do a properties it shows the drive nearly full.

I guess I was lucky, I was going to a clear install of my OS to clear all the crap out the registry. So now I have got to get a new backup. I hear the might be a program that can help recover the files but I haven't found it yet.
