Ok just to let you all know until such time, or if, the Inn shuts down I'm still running Trilogy.
However if the worst happens, ~Keeps fingers crossed it won't~ and the Inn does get put away I will try to find a new site to continue to run the game. Anyone got any possibly idea's?

I have no idea about a site, but if need be, I'll start looking for one. Lothor is far to invested in this quest to give up easily. If he can travel across time, he can travel through the internet.

My last impulse thing was not such a good thing so I am holding back a little.

A plan...
Sorry about the longer than expected absence. I somehow had a lot more than I had anticipated pile up, but I should be good now.
As for the moving if absolutely needed, I will follow if needed. I have no idea for another suitable site though.
For pushing into the island, I would like to try to avoid conflict. Every spell used and hp lost weakens us for the cyclops itself. However, I don't think just sneaking past them would be ideal, as it leaves us vulnerable to being attacked from behind. What about some diversion to draw some of the creatures away from our approach?

Ideas.....
Imagine if there are hundreds of these Gib all going under ground how far do you think that will stretch? That how far we need to go to just get past them. Now how long do think that will take? What kind of spells will destroy them in the ground?

Possible plan
We could go onto the beach at night armed with offensive spells like chain lightning, fire balls, flame strike, etc. We hit them as they come at us and then the mages teleport us back to the boat. We repeat as needed until they quit coming or it becomes obvious there are just way to many of them.
Thoughts?

like asphyxiate them in a methane fog or something of the like an just pick off the stragglers as we go in ...???

That spell might work but if the wind changes it could roll back on us.
Baiting them on to the beach would cut them down in time. It would be fight all night and then recharge spells all day. With the burning flesh it might draw more from all over the island. That could take a long time to wipe them out.
If we can get to the tower and get inside then they wouldn't be an issues. Of course it could be fight all night and run all day to get to the tower.
It may be time for a vote, do the beach repeats or make a daytime run past them?
If we don't agree soon enough to get post up by Sunday then Tann we may need another week to sort this out. I like this discussion.
I will be out of town next week but plan to check up at night in the hotel.

Not a problem extra week if needed.
I can easily hold off another week to give you all more time to discuss what your plan will be.
I'd rather have you set with a plan then to throw you all into a fight without one.
