A fountain!

So, who wants to take a bath??

Well, I half expected all paths to lead to that tomb room, guess not. SO what do we do now?

*Detect magic so that everything glows?
*Obviously start by looking for secret doors and such
*Should we toss in a coin?
*Should we just try to stir the pot?
*Should we try to remove a coin? I would think not until one of the other things is tried. Is there a way to remove a coin without stinking your arm in the well? Is there a mage-hand kind of cantrip?

.

Dwarves are not fond of water. Cor will leave it alone. Past experience says fountains in evil buildings are best left alone.

Wishing Well..........

I'd say we need to start by tossing a coin into the fountain. We should have each person ready to cast one of the coin we found into the fountain. Those two statues in the hall are most likely guards, maybe stone gollums. Cor is our leader so he should toss the first one. Sirene and Cor have high Wisdom so they should figure by the high count of coins in the fountain that it a one way thing, coins go in but they don't come out.

Ulthok on the other hand has the lowest wisdom so he may want to grab some.

Haha

Oh no, Cor will not be the first to plop a coin in the nice fountain. He fully supports not taking them out.

Fountains

Well, somebody toss in a coin!
If need be, Lothor will do so.

Soemtimes you just gotta do what you just gotta do.
That is Lothor's level of wisdom.

A Little Slow...

I didn't get my thoughts posted to Q&A this week about trying the third door too. If we see all three halls then we can figure if they are individual or linked. Like we found the coins that can be used in the fountain we may find something to use in the box room from room three.

Tann like puzzles and there may be more to this than what first appears.

Sorry I'm late . . .

Sorry I'm late to the game, I've had issues logging in to Trilogy War this week (but not the other campaign I'm in - weird!)

I can cast detect magic, and I also have levitate, which I believe can lift a coin or two from the fountain.

I know it's clost to DM posting, so I think I'll just try it.

Cheers!

Tann

Alright Tann - two quick questions.

1. Did your post cross paths with the one about the levitate spell? Was it taken into account? What happened to it?

2. When you say "gazing upwards" - does that refer to us or to the statues? Do the statues gaze up? Also, (Question #3, I never said I could count) do the statues each have three weapons, or are they armed with different weapons of the various types?

Modified

Yep she posted as I was posting so I modified it on the spot. @Aletheia

Like I said if you guys decide to stay and do a new search or take a new action I'll repost a new post

As for gazing upwards I meant the party.

Interesting........

Well 10 statues and 10 boxes. We need to search this room but be careful. We haven't activated anything yet. Try to see if all the statues appear to be males. Remember there are 10 of them and seven of us, so if we start a battle we are out numbered to start.

Check the bones to see if we can tell what try of creatures they were.

Again the time distortions in the halls is telling us something but what is it?

Remember in Drow Mountain time was also distorted. Could be similar magic.

Aliya's Detect Magic

Ok from her spell you found very little magic in the room. The area's most radiating such were from the fountain itself, most likely some of the coins are magical.

Wow Ody you still remember that, hmmmm interesting.

Time To Time..........

Well there aren't many players left from that time so things need to be remembered. The characters can't remind the players.

You've had years to build this story web so..... just saying.

This time warping is different but still it's time warping.
One thing we don't know it how time is passing outside of the tower. That would be interesting to know too.
