BTW Ulthok has that Necklace of Superior Curing. We did not define what curing was in it. I'd like to say it has 2 Cure Moderate and 3 cure Critical wounds stored because it can have up to 5 curing spells, but not any Heal. Will you allow these to be available to him? This can only be worn by a non cleric.

If you take off your Amulet of Life Protection. You of course have to wear it to use it and I won't allow, put it on, use it, take it off, type of play. You have to bond with it to add your spells to it.

Also I've been looking in my files and your back-up character sheet plus old posts and I see no reference of any Gauntlet Of Ogre Power owned by you. You said you got it in the core?

With the loss of pasts notes and posts before I'll search my records too to find when Ulthok received the gantlets.

As for the for the Necklace,we'll find a better user.

How about a quickie map or area layout. Sort of give us the relationship of the stairs, the doors and the pool.

Is the pool water warm? Can we see steam? If this is such a minus 40 degrees cold area there must be something keeping the pool fluid. Is the pool salt water? You said it looks like a bath, is it sculpted / built or a natural pool?

How thick is the ice on the iron doors? Are the doors taller than the pillars? How wide are the doors? Do the doors look like they have a lock? Do the doors look like they swing in or out?

To the group: What is the area of effect of the temp control spell? We need to all stay within that radius as we explore. Should someone try a detect magic spell? I'm betting the pool reacts. Statues are always dangerous. Lothor would start with the pool, then have the group work their way around the doors.

Oh, and sorry for the bumpy ride down the stairs. Lothor was just eager to get down. He remembers days of sliding as a kid at the local hill. Ah, good times, reenacted in some cyclops' bathhouse.

You have no clue. You need to do a physical search of the room. You just entered the room and no one has posted any actions.

Good question at first no but it got gradually bigger until you reached the room. However no it never got tall enough for a giant unless he walked somewhat bent over.

As for the doors yes they look unused for quite some time.

Is the furniture normal or giant sized?

RL got real tough at work for me recently so I'm sorry about not being around so much. We need to post searching the room so we can get more info from Tann. To exit the room we have four choices. To go back up the slippery stairs, to figure how to open a door (two choices) and pass through or to go through the water to see if it leads somewhere.

If we wish to check the water I believe Cor can do that as of his magic thing that says he doesn't need to eat or breath. Is there anyone with something that allows underwater breathing so at least it is a team?

The doors will take some study and a choice made from the answers we get from Tann.

We may find something else in the search that was not obvious enough for Tann to tell us in his post of this room.

We still have not found what is causing the cold. If the door for the room to the stair was a portal to a distant cold region Tann would have told us that, I hope, because of the searching Sirene did should have discovered its magic. Tann said the cold is natural, not magic, so it makes sense to go to a cold region of the world.

Ok, there is some food for posts, we need intel to decide our next major move.

It is minus 40 in the room so if we don't search as a group around Sirene in her warmth spell bubble we will take a little bit of damage. So if you venture away scurry back as long as the spell lasts.

I plan to have Peri stay close to Sirene.

Cor should check the water before he jumps in, if he plans to jump in. It could be the source of the minus 40 temp, might be a bit of a system shock.
