After The heal.........
Also after Talca comes to Eol will need to post in character some of the information or else our characters won't know any of that stuff about the shadows or the Beholder.
Welcome Eol...I have really enjoyed when I've been able to write with you.
And dare I say you were the first Innmate to welcome me and share the Inn, so you hold a special place with this silly old Werebear.

Awww shucks...
... I love you too, buddy bear!
Looking forward to jumping back in with you guys. As to info... I'm sure that there'll be some of that available from our Pathfinder... Especially if Sirene asks... I've got a feeling that Talca's going to recognize what/who she is.

@Nomad
The war that Talca's intro post refers to is the 1st War of Darkness. The war that just ended that the party finds themselves experiencing it's aftermath is the 2nd War of Darkness that happened roughly 30 years after the first. The war that the party was fighting before being tossed back in time is the 3rd War of Darkness. For better clarification read the world history.
So Talca has been frozen about 25 years not that long really.

1st post
I hope my first post is satisfactory. If not, let me know if I need to make changes. It isn't much right now as I am still trying to determine how I will play this character from now on.
Tann - I noticed in the Character thread that is still lists Roan as an NPC.

Gentle
Don't worry about the posts too much. Play your character. We all have our own style. And it was a good start.
Unless you have done a fair bit of reading, you wouldn't know it, but Roan actually has seen an amulet like this in action. Ulthok likes sticking his finger in strange places and recently died as we tried to enter the tower. Yet he is back and lively again thanks to his own amulet. Roan was there to see it. Most importantly, however, this doesn't really matter. So what if you didn't know it and included a comment about it in your post. It was color, and good color at that. Don't worry.
That isn't a problem. A problem is when you write, "Roan approaches the beholder and tries to tickle it." That might not have a gentle result.

Post
I did some reading of back posts but haven't seen that yet. Ah well, it is just his thoughts and his concerns were whether it could bring back someone who has been dead and frozen for years. I know it will, but maybe he doesn't.
What about if I say something like: "Roan runs up to the beholder and jabs it in it's big eye with a sharp stick" ? Think that will work? Maybe when it blinked, it didn't see him. Hmmm?

Implications
"You will find this group is well versed in raising the dead."
Yes, but when you think about it, that does imply we have a problem with frequently ending up dead. That doesn't sound as good.
As for poking the beholder, while also perhaps not recommended, it is sure to be a better option than tickling. See, your already learning how to end up resurrectable. It is almost as if you have been a group member all along.

@Grumpy
Call that laziness on my part. I will correct it now and your first post was great. I think you'll be a good addition to my game
And I do not kill characters! You all kill yourselves! If you wanted a safe non-dangerous life.... go back home, quit messing with powerful evil creatures and stop playing with magical swords! Geez so ungrateful...............

Weekly........
We are getting back to a full crew and that could keep things rolling to get back to weekly. RL had slowed some of us but hopefully things will brighten up with Summer coming.
Adding some new folk with new ideas and knowledge will help here in Q&A to think through Tann's traps and such.
This beholder will take some thinking to defeat.
BTW, we need to figure how to fight in this cold. Those in Sirene's shelter will be a risk if anything happens to her spell.
I would think that a back post on the time everyone was waiting to redo some and add some spell would work. I think there was enough time. The adding of Nap which we used in the mountain to reduce time needed to recharge spells could be handy in the future and a revisit and add the Endure Cold spells to cover us during combat would keep us from freezing.
Remember Tann has been open to us using spells from other 2.0 sources if we let him know so they can be reviewed.
Well I'm going to check back on the cantrips to see if there is one to dry off the new elf and maybe reduce the water level in the room.
BTW.. good posts Kiki and Grumpy.

Water
The create water spell is reversible, if I'm not mistaken. So, if anyone has that spell, it might go a bit of a way towards drying things up.
