Points to ponder.....

We need to remember that Allanan said ALTHENA SUNBLAYZE was not his daughter as we were lead to believe. She had the sword and now has dissappeared (maybe, Tann should give more in the story restart). The sword needs to be recovered and destroyed. (Which likely is our next adventure.)

Allanan returned with us but seperated from us. He may be needed again to help us find and destroy the sword.

Time and events have changed so what we know of the past is different from the current world time line. Only our newest party member will know the current history, it is their history.

We may be part of legend lore from the stories of Talca, that could be why our new party members sought to join us as they are desendants and know of our actions and purpose.

So when Tann posts we can figure out what to do next.

Answers sort of

She had the sword and now has dissappeared (maybe, Tann should give more in the story restart). The sword needs to be recovered and destroyed. (Which likely is our next adventure.) Ok to be honest as I no longer have any idea where I had planned to take her disappearance with the sword consider it scrapped. She is at the castle waiting on your return from the mission to destroy the flying castle. Remember you have returned to the future, and yourselves, just seconds before you cast the spell and used the gems that sent you into the past.

Allanan returned with us but seperated from us. He may be needed again to help us find and destroy the sword.
Time and events have changed so what we know of the past is different from the current world time line. Only our newest party member will know the current history, it is their history. Ok I never said Allanan left the group. I also went back to check my posts to see if I did. As of this moment he is still with the party. Powerful wizard he may be but he has no idea on the future and must relay on the party to learn his way.

We may be part of legend lore from the stories of Talca, that could be why our new party members sought to join us as they are desendants and know of our actions and purpose. Quite possible however only Lothor is headed to a library to find out. What he finds may be in my restart post.

Secrets

Does Allanan want us to keep his identitiy secret?  (Obviously we would until we have addressed the issue of his "daughter," but after that?)

@Nomad

Good question.... Has anyone asked him?

Also I'm sure you've noticed but the game is back on

My apologies

I'm sorry I haven't been active on here lately. Been suffering from depression so I haven't felt up to roleplaying. I'll try and get into it, though. Again, I'm sorry.

Here We Go....

Should have a post up by Sunday night.

BTW Tann you should amend the post to add Valene to the group of Cor , Ulthok and Allanan. She may be NPC but she isstill in the party. I can include her in my post.

Nomad, check your post you copied in the greeting to Cor and Ulthok not the one to Lothor and Sirene.

Quick question

I don't know how to phrase this...

Er...how many successive turns are we allowed each in Trilogy? I mean (this is so hard to explain!) do we have to wait until EVERYBODY has taken their turn before we roleplay again? For example: I take a turn. Do I then have to wait until every single other player has taken their turn before I can take another turn? It's just, I wanted to make Arandur quickly find the rest of the party inside the city but I have already taken my turn.

Hope that made sense lol! XD

It's just, I wanted to make Arandur quickly find the rest of the party inside the city but I have already taken my turn. As far as successive turns there are no limit to how many you can post except during combat. You can post, then someone else, like say Keeper posts, then you could post again in reply to his post even if not directed at you per say. Then Silent posts her character talking to you and you could post again in response to that.  You can post as many times as you want and they don't have to be in response to another persons post. You could post what your thinking or you post what your doing, stopping at a store to buy something, asking directions etc.... Then its up to me to put it all together in my post to make the posts/storyline fit.

As far as combat that is the only time you should only post a single post telling me what your character is doing as far as his/her attack. Like casting a spell, firing arrows from a bow, striking with a sword etc.. all in of course role play. Then once the rest of the party tells me whats they are doing I roll and then post if you were successful in your attacks like a normal post. Did this help?

Also PBP stands for Play By Post.

Heya

Hello! I'd like to join this game, as recommended

TannTalas: I have never created a character in 2E AD&D, so I might take you up on your offer and use one of your NPCs.

Anyone: How far back should I be reading? I think the reason I hadn't asked about this game before was because there's nearly 300 pages to sift through.

I'll also probably have some questions about the mechanics of playing in this edition, but I can wait until I know who/what my character is.

Thank you!

No problem dragon-soul

breebles the open character/NPC I have is a Halfling Thief/Cleric named Valene Beestinger and she is located here at the bottom of the character list..

http://www.rdinn.net/view_topic.php?topicid=31

She is the party's second thief next to Ulthok and the party's third Cleric next to Rayden's Ranger/Cleric and Cors Knight Cleric. That is the main reason I have kept her as an NPC as she is quite needed at those classes. Look her over and if you like here we will talk farther. One thing the character is having a love relationship with Ulthok, but if your uncomfortable with rping such it can easily be written out.

Also to everyone

I've finished correcting Nimu's Sirene sheet and will go top down. I've already started with Cor as the next Character sheet I'm working to fix.

Also I still need spells from all casters as everyone is down some. Silent I need all Ranger spells as you have none memorized. Dragon-soul same for you also. If you both need help with spells let me know.

Keeper you need. 7 first lvl, 3 3rd lvl, and 2 6th lvl

Nimu you need 2 3rd lvl mage spells and 2 5th lvl and 3 6th lvl druid spells

Ody you need 2 3rd lvl spells

Valene

Hi Tann--Just read through Valene's character and I like her! I also don't mind RPing the relationship, that works for me. I may just need to touch base with Odyson or you to get caught up with the details of that.

How far back should I read to catch up on current events?
