Killing Instincts Questions and Answers

Player: Shield Wolf
Name: Draven, Bran Midir
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Race: Shapeshifter/Mage, mother was a 'shifter, father a mage
Abilities: As a Shapeshifter Bran's first form was that of a crow, thus this form is often a preferred form while traveling since his body can't handle walking too far for too long. After the incident with his mother Bran focused mostly on things his father could teach him, spells that created illusions, changed things into other things, and even the ability to create small objects from nothingness. He can, with minimal effort, create minor illusions, and even shift his cane into a strong, razor sharp long sword. He rarely ever assumes an animal form other than that of the crow, however, despite the risks to his own health, both physically and mentally, Bran has also, after much hard work and taxing effort, taught himself to assume the form of a truly unique monstrosity that many refer to only as a Beast. This transformation is extremely taxing though and typically is reserved for true emergency situations. However, and he'd never truly admit this aloud, he does get a rush from the power he feels coursing through his body every time he assumes the form of the Beast.
Personality: Bran is usually very reserved, sitting quietly apart from many of the other students. From a young age he always knew he was different, and not just because he was always so sick. Many people think he's weird because he rarely talks or interacts with the others, but the truth is that he is usually lost in his own thoughts and fantasies. He has a strong will and a sharp mind though, believed by many of the faculty to be a result of the boy's wild spirit compensating for his fragile body.
Physical Description:
Human: Bran's frail figure gives away his weakness to any who look at him. His pale skin seems to almost be painted onto his bone structure as his muscle mass is nearly nonexistent. His hair is probably the healthiest part of his body, growing in a rich thick black mane that he has allowed to grow out. He favors dark clothes, finding the contrast of blacks, dark blues, and grays against his pale skin quite fitting to his unique abilities. His bright blue eyes have a glimmer of bestial madness to them, giving away his shifter nature to any who care to look hard enough. Because of his weak body and a constant cough he has had since he was young Bran must walk with a cane when traveling long distance, and he rarely goes anywhere without it.
Beast: The only thing about Bran's natural appearance that stays the same while in this form is his thick hair, and if not for that most people would probably never recognize him in this form. His muscles swell with power, granting his great strength, his skin takes on a scaled texture and hardens, glistening a deep sapphiric blue in any light. His eyes glow blood red, his teeth sharpen into fangs, and horns sprout from his head, arching back through his hair. He first got the idea to attempt such a drastic transformation while reading the various legends surrounding dragons and their exploits among the mortal races, namely the act of crossbreeding and producing half dragon offspring.
Skills: Bran has few useful skills since he has never really had the strength to master much of anything. He has, however, read many books in the library and as such has a vast reserve of knowledge at his disposal, ranging from different animal species, legends and lore, and even technology that the school itself lacks.
Past: His parents never once attempted to hide their gifts from him, and actively encouraged him to embrace his own abilities. This all changed however when the small Irish village they had been living in learned of his mother's abilities. Like many humans the villagers feared what they did not understand and naturally assumed that she, and thus her family, were monsters that needed to be exterminated. In the dark of night under a new moon a lynch mob set fire to their house, and a young Bran inhaled too much smoke, which is believed to be the source of his cough. His father managed to carry him out a back window and they escaped with the help of his father's illusions. His mother however had not been so lucky, she had rushed through the door in a bestial rage like that of a wounded animal protecting its young. The villagers, while scared by the growling animal that was attacking them, stood strong and managed to overpower her after several injuries and the loss of more than one life. After this incident Bran's father moved them around a lot and urged the youth to be careful about showing off his unique abilities. Eventually they ended up in Riverridge and settled down, Bran was accepted into the school and has been there for a few years now, though he has made few friends.

Player: sunow4
Name: Faroak Mossbone
Age: 15
Gender: Male
Race: Shapeshifter
Abilites: Shapeshifting, Animal Sense (like spidey-sense kinda)
Personality: Joyful, optimistic, loves company, hates lonliness
Physical descrition: 5'1", thin stature, straight medium length dark brown hair, always wears a beanie hat (beanie with visor)
Skills: Survival (wilderness), Animal Friend, Herbalism, Bongos, Melee Training, Marksman Training
Past: Grew up in his home with no problems and a happy life until he learns about his powers. He had arguments with his parents telling them that the powers weren't dangerous to the point that he ran away to the wilds. He became friends with the animals in and out of his and their forms. He hunted, learning to master the bow. Occasionally he was hunted and had to fight with knives instead of his bow which led him to mastering melee. Eventually he left the wilderness forgetting where he was or what year it was and came upon The Village (Riveridge).

Player: PrincessAli
Name: Tallehaut, Kari-Bliss Caitlin
Known as: Kari-Bliss (Never called Kari or Bliss, always combined)
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Race: Witch, with a few veins of Shapeshifter blood
Abilities: Kari-Bliss has the ability to make things 'shatter'; she can actually make objects, people, and animals crack and break apart. Doing so takes alot of her energy, however, and often makes her pass out. Kari-Bliss can also make small forcefields, which she can use as a shield or a force that pushes back enemies. When it's dark, Kari-Bliss's eyes turn feline, allowing her vidion in dark places; this is her only Shapeshifter power.
Personality: Kari-Bliss is very peppy and trusting, much like a young child. She's normally smiling or laughing, and loves helping others. Kari-Bliss is naive and innocent, so she's not able to fight very well; when she's alone, however, she's a very sad person, filled with pain. She also has a tendency to act as a mothering-type, which explains her love for children and those who appear weaker than her.
Physical Description: Kari-Bliss is really petite, only 4'8" and 83 ibs. She has reddish brown hair, which is curly and grows halfway down her back, with her bangs often pinned out of her face.. Her eyes are normally a mint-sky blue; when she's using her Shapeshifting ability, they are a reflective gold. Kari-Bliss is also very pale, and has a few freckles across her face, and a 7-inch scar on the top of her right thigh.
Skills: Painting, sewing, baking (Especially deserts), and the ability to befriend wild animals.
Past: Kari-Bliss was born in Riverridge (The town they all live in), but her parents took her and her twin brother away when they were 3. The family moved around for a long time, helping young Shapeshifters and Witches control their powers and giving them a temporary home to get back on their feet. When Kari-Bliss was 12, they helped a Shapeshifter boy who went by Rogue. Rogue lost control one night and attacked the family, killing Kari-Bliss's parents and leaving her with the scar on her thigh. Her twin managed to help her escape, and the two returned to Riverridge, keeping Rogue a secret. Kari-Bliss tells everyone her parents died in a flash flood.
Family: William Tallehaut (Father, deceased), Violetta Tallehaut (Mother, deceased), Damon Tallehaut (Distant ancestor, one of the founders of Riverridge, deceased), Cain Tallehaut (Twin brother)
Tattoose: Kari-Bliss has a navy blue tattoo in the shape of a cracked orb, which surrounds her belly-button. She also has a pair of dark green eyes tattooed on her back, on her shoulder-blades.
Typical Clothing: Kari-Bliss usually wears pastel colors; her typical outfit consists of capris and a tank-top, with high-top Converse.

Player: PrincessAli
Name: Tallehaut, Cain Riddick
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Race: Shapeshifter, with a few veins of Witch blood
Abilities: Unlike his twin, Cain can only use one set of his parents powers, and those are the Shapeshifting abilities. He mostly uses the forms of large cats, but has one other: a small otter. It's unexplained why he chose this animal, but it's the only one he's not deadly in.
Personality: Cain is very quiet, and usually snobby or mean. He's insanely protective of his twin sister, really intelligent, and your typical heartthrob-personality. He wears an almost-constant smirk, and the only times he's ever smiled or cried were when he was alone with Kari-Bliss.
Physical Description:
Human-Average-height, but muscular and sandy-blonde. He keeps his hair shaggy, so that it partially covers his mint-sky blue eyes, and he's tan from being in the sun alot. Cain has a few faded freckles on the bridge of his nose, and a half-moon scar on the inside of his right wrist.
Leopard-Larger than average, and covered with thick white fur and deep grey splotches. His pelt is shaggy (Because of the way his human hair is worn), and the place where his scar is in human form has no fur covering it. There's a bend at the very end of his tail, suggesting it has been broken before (This is only in leopard form). His eyes are the same color as human form, only they have slits for pupils.
Lion-A pale cream-like color, with a longer-than-average golden mane. The place where his scar is in human form is the same dark amber as his mane. His eyes are the same color as human form, only they have slits for pupils.
Panther-A light grey panther with a few darker spots on his muzzle, and the place where his scar is in human form is darker as well. His tail is a bit too long, and his eyes are the same color as human form, only they have slits for pupils.
Otter- Resembles a snow otter, with white fur and a small black nose, thick pelt, and black mark where his scar is in human form. His eyes are the same color as his human form.
Skills: Archery, animal skinning, fishing, hunting, survival, iron-working
Past: Cain was born in Riverridge (The town they all live in), but his parents took him and his twin sister away when they were 3. The family moved around for a long time, helping young Shapeshifters and Witches control their powers and giving them a temporary home to get back on their feet. When Cain was 12, they helped a Shapeshifter boy who went by Rogue. Cain and Rogue managed to start a rocky friendship, which Cain ended when Rogue confessed his attraction to kari-Bliss. After Cain told him he was no longer welcome with the family, Rogue lost control and attacked the family, killing Cain's parents and scarring Kari-Bliss. Cain risked his life to save his twin and hid her away; once she was safe, he returned and killed Rogue. The Shapeshift bit his arm while they were fighting, leaving him with the scar on his wrist, but Cain wears it proudly. He and his sister returned to Riveridge and told everyone their parents had died in a flash flood.
Tattooes: Cain has a pair of dark green eyes tattooed on his back, on his shoulder-blades; this is apparently a kind of symbol the twins share. He also has a dark green pawprint over his heart, with the date of his birth underneath it.
Piercings: Cain has 3 rings in each ear: one on the lobe, one in the middle of the cartlidge, and one in the top cartlidge. The rings are connected by a chain in each ear, and the rings and chains are both black.
Typical Clothing: Cain is usually in dark jeans and a pair of running shoes, but rarely wears a shirt. Like most experienced shifters, he can keep his clothes during shifting.

Name: Tresta
Age: 15
Gender: Male
Race: Witch
Abilities: Time magic. He has the ability to stop time in small areas. He can use this ability to stop enemies for a short amount of time. If Tresta stops time in a place and continues to focus his energy he can keep it still for up to an hour (This is possibly but will knock him out for hours if he holds the spell to max capacity), but If he stops focusing the spell begins to fade (how fast it fades depends on a persons magical ability in comparison to his). Also the more distance between him and his spell will effect its power. (If he makes something stop from a long distance it is harder for him to maintain the spells stability.) Slowing things down is much easier for him to do. He can slow enemies for up to 5 min and there body works at half the speed. His slow spell's power is always consistent. As long as he can see his enemy, he can slow his enemy. Tresta can perform other time spells (speeding things up, reversing time, teleportation (these are not easy by any means to perform, absorb a large amount of his energy, and only work on small areas of space), but at this point in time his power is to weak to make any of these spells usefull to him.
Personality:Tresta is a logical thinker. He does not like to get his emotions tied up into petty things. He keeps his mind focused on his main goals at hand. He studies everything around him and he is very passionate about life. His father and mother instilled good morals with in him, and he will always help anyone in need. Tresta also thinks very philosophically. He enjoys deep conversations about any unkown. He does not only like talking about the unkown, Tresta also loves new adventure and experiencing the unkown. He has very little fear, due to his mental stability under extreme circumstances.
Physical Description: Tresta has a pale complection. He is a skinny boy and is only 5' 5''. He has brown hair with big loopy curls and oddly placed cowlicks on the front of his head and the back. He dresses in a robe that seems foriegn to this time. It is a white droopy silk that has a blue border around it. He also carries a wooden staff that is nothing more then a sentimental item to him. His boots match his robe in color, but are made of a tough hide.
Skills: Logic, Survival (fire starting, fishing, plant knowledge in many times and places, shelter building), Balance.
Past: Tresta was once a part of a great nation not known to this time. He was of royal blood in this society of great time witches. His father tought him everything he knows about time and space and reality of life. His people were very powerful. Some witches in his nation could alter history, but it was forbidden. That did not stop some. A rebelion against the order of the nation had broken out, (it was a fraction of a second to most peoples perception) and many time witches had begun to attempt to manipulate time for there benifit. Tresta father would not let the name of time witches be spoiled. He used his great power to freeze the far of nation in time forever and everyone in it... but right before he did, he used his power to send his son to a far off place in space and time to let his teachings live on. Tresta's father did not say a word to him because Tresta knew and understood what had to be done, and so he ended up in a forest instantly to begin his new life...

More surprises

So far, the next one is set to begin on the day of Cain and Ravyn's wedding. oops, just told you who's gonna pop up

Anyways, since I'm confident in us all, Dellacoure was defeated but *BLANKED OUT* so Kari-Bliss has forsaken the others and is now know as the White One because she keeps a cloak on constantly and no longer speaks. I'm thinking the quest this time will end be something about saving Kari-Bliss from *BLANKED OUT* or them having to bring her out of her self-imposed exile to fight an evil force threatening the village.

But oh my gosh, i also wanna clue you guys into this: the game is being written as a book!!!!
