whaaa?

Three choices, which you randomly pick with a d4? What happens if you roll a 4?

Also, I think that you might have a more consistent experience if you just tried to foguire out what the character would do, instead of different random things he might do. Just sayin'.

d4

I totally mean four ideas. I have always done that with table top d&d and such just to take away from the possibility of player knowledge leaking through to what the character does. Now granted I haven't had that problem with this or anything.

"Come on Eol the survivalist thing to do would have been to leave the body. but what would he really do in this situation there has to be some moral decency inside him no matter how small the voice may seem saying dont let the zombies eat his body."

By "he" I'm assuming you mean Murph?

If so, then, in this situation - regardless of how he actually felt about Mac - Murph would absolutely have no qualms about leaving the body where it dropped and move on... First off: There is no where to bury a body anywhere close (we're not going to try to dig a hole in the floor of the hardware store or in the concrete of the sidewalk or the asphalt of the street with much success, I can guarantee that) and carrying that dead weight to a spot where we might have the opportunity to bury it would just slow the troupe down more than it already is and, as such, put the lives of those that still have lives at risk.

Secondly: if the man is dead, he's dead! Anything that made that man who he was left that shell of a body with it's "soul". Sure, Murph might lament the loss and at least close the eyes and/or cover the body up if possible as an act of respect but to actually waste the time burying a body (and in doing so, again, run the risk of getting even more of us killed), just not gonna happen... sorry. That's not to say Murph wouldn't feel bad about having to leave the body behind - I'm sure he's plenty sorry right now, that he didn't kill Jake, himself, when he initially thought about it and plenty sorry that Mac got axed as a result - but he also would realize the true gravity of the situation and wouldn't, for love nor money, risk anyone else by wasting time and keeping the living exposed just to make himself feel better...

*shrug*

Call Murph heartless, I guess, but that's about the way he'd look at it... and, given all of that, and the fact that he's already upset that his "failure to act" when Jake initially got bitten resulted in all of this I can practically guarantee you that he'll have more than just words for Alaster (or anyone else, for that matter) if it so much as hints at becoming an "issue".

Call him a heartless bastard, I guess, but he's kind of had it up to there.

You play it the way you want to, though... I'm cool either way... just sayin'.

say what?

Malek, I just don't know what to say. If you were playing an insane/schitzopheric person, I could see rolling for actions. Maybe.

Otherwise, develop a personality idea, and act on it. The "outside knoeldge" argument doesn't hold water - all of your ideas could be so tainted. Use your head and make smart decisions.

hokay

Mac is unconscuious still, and has lost some blood, but is very tentatively stable (for the time being). He will need more serious medical care - and soon - if he is to survive, however.

Alaster is moderately injured. Sore, but will live.

Murph's injuries are relatively minor.

Emily is hurt surprisingly bad. Her injuries are not life threatening, but she definitely needs to stay out of harms way for a while.

Old booger doesn't have a scratch. For that matter, neither do Steve or Amber.

Ok the die rolling is just what i have always done call me insane call me stupid. Maybe I will try another way but it has always done me well in tabletop games... Now granted not so much online and i am working on it. Its just a method I have done to limit the amount of outside knowledge being put into a game. Sorry for that. Other than that great combat post. Waiting to see the others posts and what our new plan is with the inuries sustained. My post is up first time not rolling so it is kind of choppy. when i rolled i usually stayed around one thing so it flowed better. Hopefully I'll get better.

And I don't think Murph is heartless. With what said I just really didn't put into effect that we were in a concrete jungle... the closing of the eyes should suffice although it will linger in Alasters mind that the body might end up being horrifically desecrated...

Stepping on toes again

I read the following statement at least 4 or more times before I finally began to understand what was being said:

"I had left the axe lodged in Mac for a reason - to minimize blood loss. I figured that it could be removed by one of the others when there was time to treat the wound. At first, I considered editing Tiamat's post, since it technically was a breach of the player/GM contract - you guys post intentions, I post results. However, I would have allowed Mac to pull the axe out himself while moving to the back of the store, anyway, so I'm going to let the post stand, as is. Mac is now unconscious until further notice."
So the "results" you are speaking of (and the consequent breach of agreement in the process) is my posting that the axe dislodged after the fall. Is that correct? Sorry again for stepping on any toes. Would that also mean that Mac's passing out should have been your domain as well (i.e. rules for lethal and non lethal damage)?

"Mac is now unconscious until further notice."
Would that be your notice or mine?

Yup...

...closing in on the end of Murph's latest, myself. Should have it ready in the next little bit provided the wife doesn't think up anything urgent for me to do...

And, Malek - Choppy? That was a good post, dude... I like Alaster much better when his decisions and posts are driven by your thoughts as opposed to a random 1d4 result.

Good posts all around, guys...
