Good news!

Thanks for the update DA. That's some really good news. We look forward to your full return.

As for your question Tann; those are the fire escape. Though you haven't checked, most fire escapes in the city are at least fifteen feet from the ground at the lowest point with ladders that lower when necessary.

no one looked?

Spiff did, but you never said anything. He was taking note of "anything jutting out of buildings" on his way to the hole. But it's not a worry.

And where Spiff was...

There weren't no jutting things.

Sorry about the delayed posting.

All right, things are moving forward again. I've posted. I've also sent a message to Raven asking if he's still in as Guardian... believe me. You guys want him playing Guardian, so bug him.

Yes, already, I've had this whole idea together since I sent you my last message. This was just a matter of completing the conversation as expected .

Nothing but nuts...

... is how life is like for me this week.

I will not be able to post a response to Croaker's request. But Coyote is willing to go up the fire escape and provide sniper cover. I would guess that Coyote would respond to Croaker by taking a quick look at the building across from them, and calculating the possibility to provide sniper cover for Croaker (i.e. can he realistically shoot the gangers on the other building with the gun he's got?) If the answer is "yes" he'll do it. If no, then he'll relay his doubts to Croaker. If Croaker insists, then Coyote will go for it anyway.

Hope that helps. I'll be back in a week(ish).

Thanks!

Blammm.

Hee hee hee...

Congrats to Dark Autumn! Peacekeeper earned an IP in Combat Sense!

All right folks (at least those edgerunners who're facing the bullet), I need how you're going to react offensively, defensively, and if retreat is necessary, how you'll react then.

Tann, and Blammm, you'll want to wait until they've posted and I let you know timelines so you can react to what is amounting to gunfire.

Good luck Choombattas!

2 Quick Questions

Did we hear the gunshot as we are close to the Hole and trust me Brom the sound of a gunshot within the type of area we are in carries a long way as it bounces off the walls.
And are the guards on the roof reacting to it.??

This is why I want you to wait.

I want the others to post their initial reactions so that I can better tell you all what you hear in that immediate three seconds.

Too many guns!

You say Merry Deth is reaching for "her weapon" but previously you posted this:

"Next to him, sitting seductively, but looking pale and a little piqued. She wore a white tank top over a red bra. Her face was nearly perfectly symmetrical, her eyes slightly slanted and alluring. Her lips were full and shaped with that full upper lip and slightly smaller lip that was made popular by fashion models of the early decade. Her bone structure provided her with smooth features and the shape of her face was not to angular while retaining nice lines. She wore her blond hair up though it could easily be below the shoulders. It was cut in a shag style, with jutting shocks of hair sticking out of large clips. It was obvious that the hair was technologically advanced; the tips held a pinpoint starlight glow of red and the sheen that kept playing over the hair made it appear as though she were walking down a long hallway with intermittent lighting. Her body was tone—a very sexy shape. Piercings in both ears; an ink tattoo of the goddess Isis on her left calf, visible below her capris. Both eyebrows were pierced, though the left had a stud and the right a ring. Her tank top was wrinkled up near her rib cage revealing a belly button piercing with a dangling silver rose. She carried no weapons."

Who's weapon is she reaching for? Stallions is across the room and Dawn needs hers...
