I live in upstate new york. We had a huge influx of rain last summer, days straight of it. and we live right in a flood plain kinda thing, in a valley between a few mountain ranges. we as in the town i live in along with a few others. well we had so much rain they had to open the locks or they would of burst, and by doing that, the water just over flowed the mohawk river, which is about a four minute walk from my house. So ya this flooding only happens once every couple decades, with the last one being in the sixties or fiveties i think. but ya it took out the two main stores in Fort plain, the town in which i reside.

floods suck...:(

It drives me crazy that my msn isn't working right now, and it's friday night! The night that Michiel (almerin) goes to basketball practice, and i am home alone, looking to chat on msn with Alacrity and bug him to death about random strange things!

waa!

Fort Plain?!?!

Hey! I know where that is... just east of Utica, right? hehehe... My family tree's got it's roots firmly planted in Upstate NY, too, Jozan... up near Canton in a little one stopsign town called Russell...

it drives me crazy that I don't get there more often than I do.

it drives me crazy

when the people who live in the apartment upstairs start having their Chinese-Muslim prayer services, and pray so loud that it makes me have nightmares when i take a nap on the couch!

It drives me crazy that they play arabian music so loud that we can't even watch a movie on normal volume levels (and i'm very very sensitive to sound, so i hate loudness).

And it drives me crazy that when they -aren't- praying and having seances, they're playing RIDICULOUSLY LOUD early 90's R&B music!!!

But at this very moment what is really driving me crazy, is that they're trying to drill a hole in the floor, and the chinese woman is going nuts, trying to get the pigeons off of her balcony by screaming and banging her broom for hours.

That's what drives me crazy.

oh and i also hate it when she decides to throw dirty mop water off of her balcony and it all lands on OUR balcony (sometimes when we have clothes drying). damnit.

it drives me crazy

when I'm expected to know where a piece of equipment is that is not on my inventory and hasn't been on ANY inventory for 4 frakin' years. Now all of a sudden they are looking to me to answer the question...where's the laser?

ARRRGHHH. Ok, I feel better now.
I wanna go back to ATOMS where Rob will protect me and keep me safe from insane people

Now there's an oxymoron of sorts...

ATOMS is a vast refuge for crazy people, remember? I couldn't really protect you from them but I could teach ya how to have fun with answering their questions...

ATOMS User: "I'm having problems with my ATOMS"

HD Tech: "Have you tried a new conditioner... i hear that keeps ATOMS from splitting..."

ATOMS User: "What? I mean my ATOMS Program, not ATOMS ATOMS..."

HD Tech: "Your ATOMS program? That's great! How'd you teach them to do that? You should go on Ripley's"

ATOMS User: "Is this the ATOMS Help Desk?"

HD Tech: "No, this is the ATOMS Help Desk. I'm not sure who you are..."

well

I didn't mean the ATOMS users dear...I meant protection from insane co-workers and bosses. You have such a knack for that

Oh... those crazy people!

Yeah... well, okay, come on back, then. I've got ya covered where the bosses and co-workers go... fight fire with fire, I say (or, fight crazy with crazy, I suppose is more appropriate).

ugh

oh yea, i know how that is. Living in Holland i constantly get asked: "So why are you here? Do you live with your parents? How did you meet Michiel? How long have you been here? Do you like it here? Do you miss America? Do you miss your family? How long will you stay here?"

honestly, if someone on the internet is asking me, i used to have a msWord document with all the answers, ready to copy and paste for them. I have a new laptop now, so i gotta write it again. :/
