Ok here’s my two cents. I agree that we continue to charge East, hit those skeletons in front of us and break through. However I say we do not stop to fight them.

I think it would be much better that once past them we continue to run until we meet up with the crew of The Toothless Dragon. Per one of Hammer’s early posts stated they are set up in prepared positions to help us if we get in trouble. Well I think this qualifies as trouble. Once we reach them THEN we stand and fight with better numbers and from a defensible position.

Well

Regarding Movement Rates Yes, the Skeleton Pirates are moving at a 30 feet per round rate!

PC Characters have been moving slowly, examining the rubble, looking for treasure, NOT moving at your best normal rate of speed.

So your Inexperience as Level One(1) is considering running for help ???

These Skeleton Pirates are Enchanted in Some Ways!

You Will Sadly Discover Skeleton Movement Rate is Normal, while PC Movement Rate is Reduced and They Will Overtake You Before You Even See the Place Where Dagger and the Others were in a Defensive Position!

Let Alone Get Off the Rubble!

Also, the Gnome has a regular rate of 20 feet, which he may or may not be able to keep up, so are you going to leave him behind or will you all band together and fight now to help each other ???

The Answer to what has happened to this city and these Skeleton Pirates (at least partially) will be found not too far away to the north direction!

Like I said before, I am NOT trying to Kill Your Characters, but it is Possible, depending upon Decisions and the Roll of the Dice!

Just smash them up

Only thing we gain by charging in line to the east is being in line when the others come up behind us for a rear attack. Running will not work. Form a circle and whack them. Circle the wagons works in the westerns.

Your Cleric is Valuable

Although he only gets 1 Swing because of his +0 Dexterity, he is carrying a +1 War Hammer blessed by his Dwarven Deity Toft, so as long as he hits one of these particular Skeletons and does not miss, the Skeleton Pirate Dies!

Also, he has a Dwarven Spell that Reveals Gold, so when you all dispatch the Skeletons and get up to the Happy Water sound, he can cast that spell and tell you if any Gold is in the area!

Going down swinging

With the info Hammer has givin I say stand and fight. I know I have the lowest hp and the worst AC but I am more than willing to fight on the front line. Say we circle up and pray then start swinging. Hey maybe those eye patches will work too.

Ziklag and Eye Patches

So off the top of my head the only character I remember who is actually wearing the Eye Patch is Elyra!

sorry for adding to the pile of questions,

but do we get our Dexterity bonus added to our AC? I figured my AC during the day would be 19.

10 base, +3 armor, +3 dex, +3 god bonus.

No Problem Jozan

The Dexterity is not included in the List I posted, because if you are attacked from behind, the Dexterity is not added to the Armor Class!

Dexterity is also not included in a Surprise Attack, so I did not list it above!

She makes that eye patch work!!

Yes Hammer she is the only one if I remember and she cut a small hole in it to see. Mine is in my side bag with the spell book. I am really entertaining the idea of wearing it if will save my bacon.

Ziklag and Eye Patches 2

I am Not Saying if the Eye Patches will help in this situation, but I am saying that if you think it might help, then it would be Good Advice to put it on where it can be seen!

Hello new additon to outfit

Since i am near Elyra I guess i will see that she is still wearing the dog gone thing and it will inspire me to pull it out and wrap it on the club. I don't think i have any time to put around my neck or arm

Back Post Ziklag

I will Allow Any Character who decides to put on their Eye Patch in Full View of the approaching Skeleton Pirates, to Back Post that they Cover One of Their Eyes or strap it Over Their Forehead, as long as the Skeleton Pirates can see the Eye Patch when they confront your character!

If it is tied to a Wrist or Arm, the Skeleton Pirate would still have to see it when approaching, for the Eye Patch to do any good in this situation!

If It Does!

Safe Passage!

Yes we should try the eye patches just in case. Safe Passage does not have to just be on a ship!!!

"Ye Never Know Jes When Er Where Ye Need Ta Show These Fer Safe Passage Or Help!"

Captain Crayfish, Dagger and the Stout Hearts exchanged knowing glances at one another!

Crayfish then piped up for added emphasis: "Specially Fer Safe Passage!"

"Safe Passage! Safe Passage!"

Who wants to do the shout out? I can have the Shaman do it. He might guess at the "Safe Passage" as a wish and then realize it may work!

We were told FOUR time to use them for SAFE PASSAGE!!!!
