Almost Missed It..........

Trying to follow thing on my phone the last couple of days kept me from surfing too deep. I almost missed the move from Putman.

But now I know!

Question

Do the original 3, Crow, Dudley and Alondas, know the new 3 at the beginning or can we roll play first meetings?

Busy Week...........

Finally starting to catch up on Q&A posts. Sure Dudley will trade Wimbley the Button for the Shiney. I see Dudley carrying the mead picture as he has sort of been in charge of food. Is the brazier a cook stove?

I'll write up post about the trade, hope Wimbley survives, lol.

Alondas is so look glad that Dudley traded away the wand of wonder, many mishaps have therefore been avoided.

Characters

Just n FYI, the character thread is still under the name Putnam. It is linked on the game thread, but not the Q&A thread. Or maybe it is the other way around.

I shall offer up an intro to a Cidal thief in a bit. I'll post on the game thread, but also here for a bit more background, assuming Bou has been around for a bit of the winter.

meet and greet

At the start of the adventure, the three remaining members of the last party will have met the other three party members in passing over the past few weeks. You are all staying at the same Inn, you were all looking for work and you all were accepted the the Fruit and Veggie merchants. You are not brother in arms as of yet but you have talked enough to get a feel for each other's fighting style and expertise.

Say hello to the little instigator

A brief introduction to the Cidal Rogue named Bou.

Kidalbou Shaharion Gelion Duilwen Halbarad Greenpath the Tower-Scaler
(Keey-dall - boo)
"Bou" or "Boo" for short

The names are all connected to ancestors who went out and saw the world (adventurers) that Bou respected. Thus on his naming day he choose a collection of names - not unheard of among Picks, but not common either. He occasionally adds additional "unofficial" names to the collection to commemorate significant events in his life. Everyone in his Ham was very happy when he made it clear that despite the long official name, "Bou" was the name he wished to go by on an everyday basis. It is also the only name that belongs to no one else.

Appearance: At first glance he is certainly a Pick, but on closer examination it isn't quite so obvious. But he isn't really a Loaven either. If a Loaven is ½ Pick and ½ stump, this rogue looks almost ¾ Pick and ¼ stump. There is clearly some stump there, as the wavy hair indicates, but not enough that the untrained eye would notice.
3'9" Tall, with long hair that is a light brown. However, it has a fair amount of wave to it. It isn't really curly, but certainly is headed in that direction. His skin complexion is fairly light, but as if he had a light tan. Again, "pickish," but not quite. His eyes are very blue.

Bou may be a rogue, but he is not a common thief. He is chaotic good in alignment. He is curious about everything. He wants to travel the world, see everything, and make a difference. Doing something worthwhile is very important to Bou. He knows he is neither a warrior nor a mage (and let's face it, cleric was never going to be an option for this boy) so relying on his quickness and wit seemed the best path to adventure. He is quick, smart and charismatic. He always seems to have fun and so do those around him.

I will get an intro post up on the game thread with the basic idea that Bou arrived in town fairly early in the winter and got stuck here just as the others did by the season. He wants to travel and adventure and this group and the caravan seem to be a good place to start.

Bou

Not so much "Boo" as "Bou." Although, it is pronounced the same way. Think of it like the ending of the word "Caribou." Now, isn't that a "pickish" image?

misc items

Just wanted to cover some of the miscellaneous magic from the previous campaign. If you disagree with the split, tell me so.

Double Crossbow+2, Mageslayer. A single use item as it is not made to be reloaded. The quarrels are loaded with a poison that neutralizes a mage's ability to draw mana. The magic is very dark and is probably quite evil.
Sold to Mage's Guild

Two potions of healing Crow took one and Dudley took the other

A crystal necklace that if broken will teleport you to the lair of the evil archlich that rules Sendaria.
Also sold to Mage's Guild

A silver Pitcher that if you say "Mead" fills with a high quality Mead. Works three times a day.
Dudley took this

A small Brazier that is enchanted to burn without fuel (Command: fire/extinguish) and will follow you like a dog if you say "here boy" (cannot be over 20 feet away, walks with iron legs and not fast)
Alondas took this.
