Writer needing help

I am a writer, and no you have never heard of me. I am as of yet unpublished. I am working on a story and I am needing to find something to help me name the city's and towns in my story, primarily elven and dwarf city and towns. Looked on this site for a name gen that would specialize in elf and dwarf cities and what not, but this site does not have one. I use the name gens to help steer my brain into a direction creatively to come up with my own name. In other words I use it to "jump start" the ole noggin. Does anyone here know of a site that has a name gen for Elf and dwarf cities, towns, regions etc?

Welcome Johnny..............

Welcome to the Inn. Did you check our Armoury for those generators? Click that middle button up there on the top rail and see if that has what you are looking for.

Again Welcome, and here's a nice fluffy towel. You'll need it later.

Odyson,

Who is Johnny?

Okay... so the subject line kind of dates me a little and most of you whipper-snappers will miss the reference but, after 440 years, I'm too old to edit and make myself look good.

Firstly - Naming Elven and Dwarven cities, towns, etc: I haven't found any really good generators to do this, myself, buuuuuut if you check the Vault here on the Inn you'll find a copy of the Grey Company's Elven Dictionary and Phrase Book. Lots of great guidance in there where naming your cities and whatnot go (and even a few "Examples").

Dwarven gets a bit trickier because, for whatever reason, there doesn't seem to be anything out there that's as 'comprehensive' as the aforementioned Elven dictionary. However, I did find a few resources out there and this one comes fairly close. You can also find more to explore via a google search for 'Dwarven Language.'

Secondly - *ka-jingle-pounce*

We've got some pretty fantastic writers of our own in the fold, here, Johnny. So, you know, feel free to prowl around, read, and, if anyone in particular strikes your fancy, shoot them a PM or something. You'll find that, for the most part, we're an enthusiastically friendly lot and all you need to do to get some help is ask.

Enjoy your stay, mellonamin, and happy writing.
