There's something very wrong with you, my friend.

I've posted an end to their dinner.

That was quite enjoyable. I find it difficult to write for a woman's point of view, but I had fun expanding my horizons with that exercise.

Looking forward to the reception, oh, great and marvelous Captain!

Braided underarm hair

What is this Germany? Sorry I shouldn't say that as I am about 1/5 German.

I have loved the interaction between Tochi and Asovil. You have played a woman very well Brom. Hmmm. I wonder what that means?

Yes I am hoping to see the Dinner soon. Can't wait to see what you guys are going to cook up there.

Uh huh!

Great fun, that was (and, for the record, Brom, I think you're doing a fine job "getting into the female mind").

Also, welcome back Haemis! Good to see you on the boards, again, and glad that things look to have settled for you a bit.

Post for Tochi coming up....

Best guesstimate?

Okay, the post is coming along... got a bit left to do, yet, but it's getting there.

In the meantime, here's another pic for you to peek at and go "hmmmmm?"

Haemis has been away until just recently and I have yet to see much of a bio/description of our new CEO that I could work with, sooooo, I kinda threw this one together from out of nowhere. Lt McTavish, report to Engineering.

LOL

Haemis is Rodney McKay? Maybe would have been better with Carson Beckett. He at least is actually Scottish.

Why, thanks...

I appreciate the kind words, Eol and Booboo (I too, wonder what it means, Booboo).

Welcome back Haemish!

LOL

Yeah... but I kind of used Paul McGillion (Carson Beckett) as the basis for another MacTavish that exists in the RDINN Trek-verse, already.

I don't imagine that Jack and Haemis are related... Ol' Mac was a hot-head to say the least... an' dinnae get on too weel wi' th' XO abaird th' Discov'ry, either! Did he Brom?

There it is!

Dinner is done! That was an insanely fun bout of posts, I think. Thanks, Brom, for all that posty goodness!

Also, as mentioned in my OOC comments, Leah's likely going to be feeding the rumor-mill fire with a bit of gossip here and there regarding "the dinner date Lt Zai had"... Use it or not as you see fit.

"We're only human..."

So, what, Brom and I are fleshy headed mutants?

Good stuff, you two!

okay...

I'm working on a reception post now. I want to give Amara plenty of room to set the scene and such, but I don't want to force her to cram in a fluff post, so...

Also, I have a lot of a Captain's Mast piece ready for Chief Crane. I suspect that won't happen until the next game day, though... the timeline doesn't seem to lend itself to the Captain being notified of the issue, unless our new CSO wants to notify him at/after the reception.

Okay... Firstly...

...WOOOOOHOOO for reception and Captains Mast posts! I can hardly wait!

Secondly - Happy 50th anniversary, Star Trek!!! Without someone boldly going, all those years ago, our beloved Peregrine wouldn't be flying, now!!!

So looking forward to the next posts!

Eol, I will definitely be using the rumor mill to make Asovil's life miserable. Muahahahahaha!

Great interaction Booboo and Ody! Funny thing is, if you rewatch Trek (pretty much any of them) then you'll see that they almost always throw something in their episode about ship life. So all of these interactions are fabtastic!

Olan, I don't think that Asovil will bring a downer up at the reception dinner. She feels things are contained for the moment and don't need immediate attention. She is content to wait and deliver her report during her official briefing. If you want to schedule that briefing, that'll be helpful.

And, yes! Happy Anniversary, Star Trek!

I have a fluff piece in mind for Asovil getting back to her quarters and preparing for the dinner, but aside from that, I'm waiting on the posts leading us into that portion of the day.

yep

Official briefing it is.

I agree - shipboard life snippets are fun to read, and add to the overall depth of the story.

I just made a super fluffy post as a "bad guy silver screen" moment. You know just to get your imaginations running a bit.
