Something something snow and ice.  Hockey.  Skiiing.

There, that's what I know about Finnish culture.

Loved it. I think our overall strategizing in this thread is probably over. We've made some suggestions and now are acting on some of them within game posts. Unless Aranwen calls for a full retreat, I believe we're moving into a rather telling and dramatic fight sequence. I'm really interested in how this battle will turn out.

Raven, it is really good to see you back in action, my friend.

Don't feel bad re: ghouls.  None of you had faced them before.  They are not acting like they normally would (not found near a graveyard, etc).  And ya'll made some awful rolls on the knowledge checks.

Oh, I don't feel bad. Gib does though. He's crushed. He'll probably have to go cry himself to sleep on his huge pillow.

Wooo!

I agree, awesome to see some life breathed into Cedric! Hope we all live long enough to see more

Offense: use Kith's paralyzed body as an improvised weapon if worse comes to worse.
Defense: use Kith's paralyzed body as a shield if worse comes to worse.

In 3-8 rounds she'll be up and ready to go!

Compliance

Interesting choice, there, Blackthorn but it does make sense, I suppose.

Given the Kazari's strength, he'd likely have an easier time carrying Kith back toward the camp and it would give the party a fighter-type at the "rear" on the off chance that we'vve got rotters coming at us from that direction. Soooo, Ch'dau will comply with Khan Aranwen's orders (albeit perhaps not "happily" as he's still hoping for some blood).

I'll try and get a post put together in that regard but, if Olan is looking to get something tacked up before I can do so, just wanted to acknowledge that, yes, the Silver Cat will take over the returning of Kith to camp.

When you get back to camp, throw Kith into the river. She will float to safety and the running water will help to thaw her out more quickly.

I saw Bear Grylls do this once, it'll work.

Just to be clear...

So, Cedric's plan is to cast CLW on Kith and after that, Turn Undead while retreating to the camp.

Okay, let me make sure that I have the plan straight.

1) Cedric is casting CLW on Kith.
2) Ch'dau is picking Kith up so that he can turn tail and flee.
3) Gib and Cedric will turn undead.
4) The rest of the party will fight at a disadvantage while ineffectively backing up in the dark... er, will TACTICALLY WITHDRAW, to the camp.
5) ...profit?

Sound about right?
