Dislike Europe? As a European, I could take offense.   We're not all alike, brother. Then again, I personally have loved Germany so far. Perhaps not all Germans, but most of them too.

And I'm sure you would love Finland.

It is... deathly silent.

Just to point out the obvious - the corridor is far too narrow for someone to have drug both of them from the middle of the group down either direction of the hall without being detected doing so.  Nor would enough time have lapsed for them to get out of sight.
