So, let's see.

Gib and Cedric are humans, and can absolutely be raised as ghouls.  Cool.

Midge is a cidal.  I see no reason that he can't be a smaller ghoul.  Though they might just kill him.

Ch'dau... hrm.  No special protection for the species, so he could presumably be ghoulified.  That's a scary thought!

Aranwen is protected by her species, no becoming a ghoul for her; she'd have to be ghoul chow.  Or maybe a ghoul concubine.  Or concubine, then chow.

I mean...

In the worst ending, if they broke her mind, Aranwen may replace the woman in the last silver screen

There's a particularly chilling thought

She isn't oblivious to the danger, especially to herself given the enemy's tactics. But we've no searcher now, and her goal is to recover both Davena and Kithran. The only two options that seem to be visible are continue down the corridor, or turn back and try the other path.

Aranwen also remembers the spellcasting seeming to come from ahead.

Whoa

I have to hand it to you, here.  The level of RP you are talking about is incredible.  For Aranwen to go from disciplined Bladesinger to brainwashed cultist and would-be mother of abominations.... just, whoa.

I get how that could happen, of course.  Like you said, her mind would be broken.

But still, it takes some kind of special player to even admit that kind of thing could be a possibility.

Course, I have to point out... if you go back another silver screen moment, you see that syls don't fare well in that role.  That doesn't mean that the cult might not try...

opinion poll

Woudl you folks like for me to make posts publicly about what Kithran is encountering?  Or just handle that via PM with her?

I'm thinking the former, just for the purpose of sharing the entire story...

My vote

As you said, for the purpose of knowing the entire story, I'd love to know what's going on with Kith, myself.

Hoping to have a post for Ch'dau up, soon.

Personally

I also like the idea of it being public for the same reason you mentioned, Olan.

You bring it out in us, Boss!

Can't react to a bad story that way. right?

Not on the same level, anyway.

So glad we finally made it this far in!
