Yiiiikes

How will that manifest? Is there anything we would have to do in our apothecary posts or are they more like spies? Will something likely be attacking us? Is it something one of us might notice? *sweating* I've never played a puppet.

Easiest way to do it...

Really depends on who enters the store, if it's everyone or only one person, and who that one person is. Whether Kithran goes in because she's still the least inconspicuous of the group plus the opportunity for five fingered discounts, or Mosic.

And if it's Kithran... we can collab I always wanted to write for a pushy saleswoman apothecarian at some point

If it's Mosic, I can provide that write up. She's decidedly less pushy about trying to get Mosic to buy stuff because well, cleric of Falloes.

Hmmm

@ five fingered discount haha I have been meaning to look up what all Kith could snatch while in there.

She's probably going to tell Ch'dau to keep to the shadows while she and Mosic go in--Mosic to do his business, Kithran to do hers. Admittedly RPing Kith trying to deal with a pushy saleswoman iiiiis tempting . . . very tempting . . . but I think she'd think that Mosic would be a good distraction, with the added benefit that it's Ara's money he's spending and not hers hehe, and she can swipe stuff so that they've doubled-up as much as possible on supplies.

If you're up for a Mosic/Apushycarian post, have at it! I'll start working on Kith's bit after Ch'dau's interactions before we split ways.

And for the record, Kith's reaction to Ara's "if I get caught? Psh, whatever" sentiment:

So sweeeeet

That was so lovely, and so nice to see a happy, carefree, in love Aranwen
The date threw me off for a second, but it really puts into perspective both their lifetimes in general, as well as the extent of the life Sae and Ara had together. So beautiful.

As a sidenote: I just realized that both of our ladies end up in love with red-haired, violet-eyed Sylvari.

Soon...

Got Ch'dau's post all but done. Internet is about to go down for a bit as I've got the cable company mucking about in my walls at the moment. If that all goes well I should have that post up soon.

There it is...

...for what it's worth. Ol' fuzz-face is getting geared up, bit by bit, it seems. Yay, stuff!!!

Also, aggreed re: the planned visit to the apothecary. Probably best if Ch'dau waits outside (or, at least, makes himself as unobtrusive as possible). I'll leave any interactions with the "Apushycarian" in the hands of Mosic and Kith.

Well...

He was just about unarmed just a few minutes ago. I can imagine he feels significantly better with even these looted things; weapons and armour are far more valuable than clothing for a Kazari, aren't they?

Writing up Aranwen's exit now

Hehehe

Yeessss, steal from the dead with Kith, Ch'dau, come to the dark siiiiiiiiide!

Ecstatic to hop into quippy Kithy's brain as I begin my next post.

@Rera: We have some back and forth between Mosic and the Apushycarian, did you want to take care of the rest of their interaction while Kith skulks about the shop? I was just going to have her catch bits and pieces while making sure no one was paying attention to her and not sure if you had anything more planned.

Hehehe...

...Yeeeeeaaaahhh, the whole pilfering from the dead bit is the second or third step in Ch'dau seeing that Kith's thieving isn't always a bad thing.  Besides, those guys aren't gonna have any need for that stuff now, right?

almost had him snake everyone elses belts and such in order to fashion himself a dak'tar of sorts but decided, in the end, that there probably wasn't that much leather available.

Hmmmm...

....mmm-hmmmm! That's definitely gonna make Ch'dau curious. A walking scratching post, is it?

Not to mention, such a jury-rigged belt wouldn't have been too functional; I've tried something similar before, and the individual pieces just don't like working together in a cohesive unit

One puppet has arrived. Unlike the other ones that Morgana has used, this one is decidedly more lifelike in appearance, to better hide its nature, but is still a construct and the wood smell is probably what most gives it away. Given the objective to capture, it is only going to initially target Kithran, mostly to grab and keep hold of. Best to think of it in terms of like a wood golem - generally sturdy, surprisingly quick in its movements, and it does have a slam attack, though it will soften its blows (ie non lethal) on Kithran (also Ch'dau should it recognize its other target and strike him).

If it enters the shop unimpeded as it intends to do, the shopkeeper ducks behind the counter because nope, and then it will try to grab and pin Kithran.

At this point...

...I have a feeling Ch'dau is going to let the puppet go about it's business. He's not aware, at first, that it is a puppet, in fact... just finds it odd that there's no smell of human, syl, cid, or otherwise beneath the perfume nad, that in itself, makes him nervous.

Considering how to start a post detailing that, of course... we'll see where it goes.

"because nope"

Thanks for the info! I'll add the beginning of that scuffle to my post! Among the ruckus she makes, she'll also be ordering Mosic to get Ch'dau while she distracts the thing i.e. gets a real uncomfortable hug--guh, and she hates being touched too, booooo.
