I was wondering who'd get that top-o'-the-page spot! If it's Reralae we will be in mourning every time we open the thread and feel a white hot rage to get vengeance for whatever is about to happen . . . I hope it's Reralae.

EDIT: I'm at work so I don't have my chocobo plushie with me, but I listen to a lot of sad podcasts so my co-workers are used to finding me huddled in the fetal position under my desk with a giant wine bottle.

To a Bladesinger, their personal code, those oaths they take, I feel those hold more weight to them than a code does to a Paladin, as shown by the class description.

"Code: The Bladesinger must live up to the strict standards of their own code. Discipline is usually ingrained to the point where any individual would rather die than break even the smallest tenet (i.e., a dishonored sword is left on the battlefield, regardless of immediate danger). However, a Bladesinger that breaks his or her vows can expect to be hunted down and executed by the rest of the order."

Saeriel's oaths included "to protect those who cannot protect themselves," a very dangerous promise to make. Even if the order had decided she was not at fault, as a personal code it's more important how the individual feels of themselves...

To be honest, when I had originally conceived the character of Adedre, I hadn't even entertained the idea of her being so maliciously "sexual" in her mannerisms but, as I actually started writing for her, somehow, that particular affect made sense to me... Something about the lust for life going hand in hand with the command of death and whatnot, I suppose. *Shrug*

If I ever go 'too far' with it, please let me know... Not sure I can control her just yet, but, I'm sure I'll find away if it gets too oogy.

With regards to the fact she's trying to draw on primal energy, especially using Ch'dau's blood. And what is more primal than the biological urges?
