Hi there, I've been planning since November on adopting a female pit/pit-mix around my bday (March 1st, getcha girl something nice! Jk jk jk). I had dogs growing up, and have just been slowly accumulating dog items, reading Cesar Milan's book, talking to the dog training center next door, all that stuff.

ANYWAY all of that is to say that I've had a long time to think of names as well and so far my favorite has been Davey.

How. Brainwashed. Am I?

It'll definitely depend on her personality and all of that, but if I see her even think about summoning some doggo ghouls, Davey it'll be!

I have a tendency to re-use the name Morgana for any number of villains I make sooo...

Be sure to share pictures of the little pooper once you get it. You know I love my pitties! I'd also say "let me know if you need any advice/info about training or whatever" but Frank listens to me about as well as a rock, soooo.... ... I kid, Beans is a good boy, but pits are a stubborn breed and super-prone to the zoomies! Socialize early and often is the best advice I can give.

Aaaand, before I get too far into thinking about doggos, let me get back to working on the Cub Ch'dau business.

Not totally crazy yet! And don't worry, I'll be sure to ask all the questions! I have a big backyard now, AND that dog cafe I live next to is connected to a dog training center and daycare, so the stars seemed to have really aligned since I moved.

I'm planning on taking her to the daycare 2-3 times a week while I work to help socialize her.

Also, I love human names for animals, (eg Frank, my sis' cat Patty) so I'm really leaning toward Davey. Hoping she's a little less  than her namesake

Pits are typically really sweet natured dogs... A little to aggressively bouncy for their own good, but sweet nonetheless. And they really like to chew and "hold your hand" with their faces. Invest is good quality toys is the best advice I can give where that's concerned. Stuffed playthings won't last a day or two.  Also, be prepared for lots of slobber.

Glad you're enjoying the Cub'dau stuff so far. There's much more coming. Taking a wee break to practice my Swahili but I'll get back to writing soon.

I have it in mind that Ch'dau will be making a trip to Calestra at Rakiim's request - likely to buy/sell/trade, of course, but haven't decided exactly - and, once there, will have his first encounter with the one-handed Vidarak. 

Rer- Not sure if Ara will want to come along or not, I leave that entirely in your hands. If she does, Ch'dau will, of course, be happy to have her along. If not, I'm sure he'll wonder/worry about her while he's away.

Bree - Aldeath encounter, perhaps? "Uncah Ch'dau broughted us knifes!"

Secondly, I've been skimming through old Little Kithy posts in KCandK and am remembering just how much the little Stabby Kitten and her merchant pops both loved Calestra.

Per Randel's letter though, I actually don't think they'll be there anymore, they'll likely be heading back to or already back at their home in Stone's Hollow  Make sure you write them! If you're lucky you may run into a Maiden  Buuuut yeah, no Aldeaths. Danny and Chora are going to be SAAAAD about that--Randel too, honestly. He and Kith are both very easily excited, aaaand disappointed
