Attention: Rowl or Talon

For Security maters, 4 PADDs taken from the Romulans. Shirrael's and Rhiana's have tecnical data on them, but no data on the Cloaking Devices. They both have a moderate library of recreations reading including Romulan Erotic Poetry. Before the distruction of the Cerberus they had been playing with security, and elaborately encrypting some juicy poems and sending them too each other. Both are very, very intelligent, and were very bored . In fact Romulan tech team had editic memories, this was so that they did not have to have descrete information on the CD on their computers. S'Talon's computer has quarter hourly reports as to where the Romulans while on board the Cerberus and then recording of any interaction the Older Romulan had with any of the other Romulans. Sienea's computer has much of the same information as all the rest of them with two noted differences, one a library of music for the kyoto, and the other a book called the Bushido, written in Japanese and Romulan.

As for The Centurion's cases, both are about 4-5'x2'x2' feet long. Inside one of the very strong cases are two beautiful wooden boxes. Both hold a set of Samuri weapons, a matched sets of Katana, Wakasashi, and Tanto. Both are of superior quality and one seemed to be older (as per aged color of the carved ivory hilt) and of a finer quality than the other (metal was folded more times). also in the case were Typoical clothing worn by the Samuri of the Shogunate period.

The other case holds another carve wodden box, and in that is a kyoto, a Japanese stringed instrument. Under the boxes was a compartment holding a number of brightly colored Kimonos eleboratily embroidered with Japanese motifs and one of just plain white.

Romulan gear..

I am sure the Charon security will make a note of everything they take from the Romulans and make a full report to Lt. Cmdr Talon. His reaction to some of the stuff should be interesting.

OK Time problem

Charon 13:19 all survivors reported on board.

The Romulans were last to bee brought in.

But Lt Hash is treating the Centurion, after Anderson report her as injured at 12:51.

Player wishes to know

Okay, I, the Player of Brianna am rather shaky about what the proper procedure is to make a Complaint/report about about the conduct of Stan Stowbrieski.

1. Who would I file it with? And since I feel it was very important to get this done quickly what personnel should I lay the complaint with?

2. Since we lost our MACO CO and I am just an NCO what is proper for me to do. I came up with something but it is only off the cuff.

Also I am not sure of what the charge might be. Endangering Star Fleet personnel or what? My conplaint basically is that he was knowingly shutting the door on my MACO Team, with him the only occupant, even after I told him to hold the door. Ir was only my diving into the pod and the safety devices to prevent the for closing on someone made it possible for my team to escape. I hope I put that correctly.

Just want to make sure everything is Ship Shape in Bristol Fashion.

no hard feelings

nothing personal in my Fletcher post, YeOlde. I know that Talon pushes the envelope of what Klingons would consider bad manners, but this time, he pushed Fletcher a bit too far.

Personal effects?

Ummm, just noticed that some 'personal effects' appear to have made it off the Cerberus with the Romulans... hate to say it, folks, but unless you were carrying it with you or had it in hand at the very minute the evacuation order was given nothing except for the one, uninstalled cloak would have made it off the ship with you... People, PADDs, and possibly a phaser or two (for TAC/security folks) would have made it, I'm sure... You would not have had time to grab anything that you brought with you from home. Sorry.

Edits where applicable, please. Thanks.

What made it off the Cerberus?

  • Personnel who were 'on duty,' awake, and near enough to an escape pod to have made the dash in one minute or less may have made it to an ASRV. (This includes whatever they were wearing and/or whatever equipment (padds, tricorders, tools, etc) they might have already had in hand or, for some odd reason, might have grabbed in the mad dash to save their lives... meaning it was practically in your hand at the moment and the only reason it made it into the ASRV with you is because you forgot to drop it in the panic)

  • Personnel who were 'off-duty,' sleeping, and/or otherwise not within 45 seconds of a pod - along with a greater majority of on duty ENG personnel in Main Engineering and several other departments in the area - did not survive.

  • Very few of the ASRVs that were ejected from the aft portion of the ship, also, did not escape the blast. Ther personnel aboard those ASRVs did make it off the Cerberus but not much farther (poor souls).

  • The singular 'personal item' that I can imagine might have made it off the ship with the surviving crew would have been Rrowl's knife and that only because the Rug carries it on him at all times... Mac lost his kilt (which, itself, was a family heirloom that travelled with him his entire career) and a damn fine bottle of scotch (not to mention any holographs, saved 'letters', etc, from Chantelle), for instance, and all of that stuff was less that 10 steps away in his ready room... Survival instincts won out, of course, and the kilt, scotch, and momentos were left to die in deference to actually getting off the exploding boat.

Basically, if you were wearing it or had it in hand, it made it to the ASRV... if it was sitting beside you (on a bunk, table, deck) you could have instinctivley grabbed it up and took off a runnin' but, with the red alert klaxons blaring and the ship screaming 'Get off or die', I doubt even Spock would have had the wherewithall to grab anything, let alone realize what it was that was being grabbed up... Sentients, the uninstalled cloaking device, a PADD/tricorder, and/or the random piece of job related equipment made it... Anything else is, by now, atomized.

Geez...

...I forgot to mention in either of those last two posts but, great work in the RP dept over the past few days, gang!

I, myself, am hoping to absorb and address all that's occurred since Mac's last by this evening (with hopes of a post actually going up tomorrow) and have us 'nudged forward' shortly thereafter.

Swords

If S'Talon had been unpacking the swords while the others were working on the CD, then could the swords have been saved?

Possibly...

...however, I'd guess the swords and S'Talon would have only made it as far as the first security detail that spotted a Romulan running down the corridor carrying a couple of swords. I would imagine that, given the level of suspicion towards teh Romulans, anyway, if a Sec detail had seen S'Talon hauling arse for an ASRV with some sharp pointy things that weren't his ears, the Romulan would've been phaser-ized and the swords would have clattered to the floor. End result's the same.

Here's a real world analogy... you're teaching a class full of six year olds and the fire alarm goes off, there's no drill scheduled for the day so, it's quite possible that the school is on fire and everyone needs to get out right-freaking-now! Do you let little Johnny make a trip to his book bag to grab his favorite Hot Wheels car before you hurry him outside to safety? Probably not... life before stuff and all that... how's it gonna fly with Johnny's mom and dad when they find out that their son's a cinder because he wanted to grab a 99 cent Hot Wheel, right?

Sorry.

FIRE

BTW Teachers are taught to take their rollbooks with them and be the last out the door making sure to close it. we even had to drag out emergency barrels on wheels.

If you allow it the swords might still be in their cases. Then he would just grab the case.

Yup... the wife's got 70+ kids in her charge...

...on a daily basis, so i'm with ya there. Rollbooks, however, are usually pretty much at hand (in or on the teacher's desk) and the school likely isn't going to be burnt completely to the ground in the span of 60 seconds.

My point here is that you had half the length of a standard television commercial to get the CD and your crew from the centurion's quarters to an escape pod before the ship went boom...I seriously doubt that anyone would have even thought about saving the swords, let alone attempting it (when it's your life vs some antique which would you choose?)... we're lucky the cloak made it, to be honest.

Final word... the swords did not make it.

OK

Got the message. Figured their were replicated copies as, the real ones would be too valuable to take away from her home.

Hmmm wonder if the replicators could make duplicates them?

Most likely...

... the replicators could make replacements, yes.

However, with Talon having his knickers in a twist about security and Romulans in general, I'd almost be surprised if he didn't implement security lockdowns on the replicators that specified 'bread and water' only.

Whoa! Am I seeing a bunch of Dishonorable Discharges in the works...

...or what?

Ignoring direct orders from superior officers? Doing what we want to anyway despite orders that have been given? Starting to feel like a regualr mutiny in the making hereabouts isn't it?

I appreciate that everyone is so enthusiastic about posting and that we all have our own ideas as to what our characters would/should do, etc, but, WOW! Just a friendly reminder to all concerned: each and everyone of our characters are Starfleet personnel or representatives of the Romulan Star Empire/Navy and, as such, should rightly be expected to conform to and comply with a cetain set of ethics and regulations... In other words, behave like military personel on a mission together and not runamok star pirates fighting for control of the ship and a bigger cut of the booty.

Now, having said that... Feel free to fly in the face of orders and/or crawl up Stan's keester just to make sure he doesn't do anything else if you like... just keep in mind that there will be consequences for such actions... icky, vile, nasty, and probably unexpected consequences, at that.

Also, I'm almost caught up with everything, now, and should have a post ready to go in the very near future.
