Ah

Okies, well, this is kind of Ocyari's perspective right now:

Person A says mean things to person B (hurting Ocyari's ears in the process!)

Person B looks as though they're trying to have the last word against person A.

Summary of the above -> argument.

And with 10 wis, she's not going to understand too much that's out of her league. Understand large words, sure (14 int), understanding subtle meanings, not so likely

Ah, also.

But the point missed is that Person B didn't even try to have tha last word to person A. He let her walk out, being silent.

BUT ... ... he attempted to make sure that the others knew more about him, and not to do the same thing to him that Person A did. (the chip thing ...)

hmmm

ok... yes... perhaps I should mention what Suicidolt has already stated: The party is not allowed to split up. Pure for the reason that I don't want to go and make two seperate time-lines. I've ran adventures like that for a long time, and I don't want that anymore as a DM here on the inn. Therefore, should Pao really leave, he's out of the game until he desires to return.

But instead of talking about consequences... let's see what you guys can do to mend this situation. The fact that not many of the old players are posting doesn't help the situation, so unless anybody else does so, I will update as one of the other characters and fill Pao and Ocyari in on what was about to happen, and I will calm the situation. That means that everything gets straightened out in exactly 1 post, and after that the case is closed. I do like character interactions, but we've had our share of fussing in this game (mostly because of Percifeer's way of handling other people), and I don't intend to take too much time of the plot because the characters are having trouble cooperating.
I'm dropping clues here and there about what has really transpired, if we take too much time in bickering you will forget what happened, etc etc.

Can we agree on the fact that after one more post this incident is over? I would like to continue this game in a more constructive way.

I appologize to any of you who are having a great time developing character, but there has to be a balance.

I have no problem with that

My last post was intended to indicate an opportunity for the others to intervene, as stated. NOT to be an absolute "I'm outta here!"

I also indicated an option to contact me if they do not stop me,

But I did lose sight of the fact that the few most recent postings were not made by the only players in the game.

Still, my post holds as an opportunity, not an absolute. I do not mean to usurp control. I will wait and see, rather than knee-jerk-post (again).

I intend to intervene

I just happen to be in a disadvantaged position when it come to time (as it is currently about 12:00 and tomorrow morning doesn't look like a possibility for posting. Tomorrow night Miran will pull up as much insight and foresight to pull things together if within my capacity.

This should help

Hey everybody,

I know it has been a long while since this adventure started. It was intended to be a short one, but due to slowness it became longer than necessary. I'm very happy with the current speed, but because of player-alteration and longness certain details have been forgotten. Therefore I'm writing you a summary. I hope that will help.

First, all characters were summoned at the orphanage. There, Ormander revealed there was a problem. An emerald statue has been stolen from the private vault of Councilor Velch, and a thief was pursuited. The thief lost a leather band with a silver coin. On that coin was the symbol of the Orphanage: the outstretched hand of Falloes revealing the Ram of Drannon.

Velch ordered Ormander to repay for the statue and the inconvenience, namely 20.000 guain. There is no way he can come up with the money, and adventure-wise: you're not allowed to sell your personal items to come up with it either.

The group went on its way and was attacked by a group of thugs. They directed the group to 'Virgin Stuart', who was found in 'the Heart of Darkness' tavern.
Not willing to go there yet, the group went to find a list of old orphans who Ormander was unable to contact:

Goddfrey Morman - became a baker
Joe deLaro - adventurer, never said where he went
Grikky Longnail - enlisted with the Drefast guards
Mills Zandergrek - adventurer, had no further contact yet
Dorothy Galios - adventurer, somewhere in Drefast

Goddfrey was contacted, and delivers to a courthouse party in three days. An idea was to infiltrate as bakers.
Grikky was not in the base, but on a practice mission.
Dorothy is who you're talking to now.

The group went to the courthouse next, but it was extremely busy because a family called Sebarter found something in the Archives that meant they earned a lot of cattle. An error in the Archives is unheard of, and it's the talk of the day.

You guys know the rest, I believe.

in addition

I should note to the new people, the reason Percifeer is flustered is because every time the group sees one thing, they seem to forget the other leads. She thinks the best lead we have is Virgin Stuart in the Heart of Darkness and is very unhappy that the group didn't travel there the first day.

Sui, it's still the first day, and the sun is going down. Now would be the perfect time to go to the Heart.

HoD

You've arrived at the Heart of Darkness. Patience is a virtue here, ok? We don't want members of the party dying because they think they can do whatever the heck they want.
