PLease

email me a copy of the players handbook, that would be great as I left my hardcopy in the states.

Also, I'm all for Scouting the woods awhile while the dwarves see if they can't fix the mage, then head back to Brdhvale for the reward.

Anywho, look forward to friday.

Spells

It would be great if everyone could get their spells in to me by this Friday's game again.

Also, I've done a little reading around and it turns out that Cure Moderate Wounds *does* exist (in a supplement called Tome of Magic). Sorry about that one guys!

Cure Moderate Wounds (Priest 2)
(Necromancy)
Reversible
Sphere: Healing
Range: Touch Components: V, S
Duration: Instantaneous Casting Time: 5
Area of Effect: Creature touched
Saving Throw: None

Somewhat less common than the well-known cure light wounds and cure serious wounds, this healing spell was created by a priest who found that his heroic companions required his skill at doctoring more than his advice and wisdom. By laying his hand on the subject’s body, the priest can heal 1d10+1 points of damage. Noncorporeal, nonliving, or extraplanar creatures cannot be healed by this spell. The reverse of this spell, cause moderate wounds, requires the priest to successfully touch the victim and inflicts 1d10+1 points of damage.

This Friday

SilentOne works part of the gametime so I'll be playing her for the first portion...

and Yay for Cure Moderate wounds!

I'll hit up a spell selection based on whether the decision is to scout (as I said) or head back

Questions for the Gnoll:

Where is Thalrim's Base
How many uder his control?
What races under his control
and When is his Attack planned for?

EDIT: Emmerus is not above hurting the Gnoll to glean the information required. (Thouh obviously not kill him)

cdn

You're okay with the same spell selection as last time then?

1st level: Burning Hands, Charm Person, Magic Missile, Sleep.
2nd level: Invisibility, Mirror Image

flirt

might I suggest losing Charm person or sleep for more magic missiles? we're getting to the point where enemy HD are higher than sleep allows. and direct damage that never missed seems to help.

Also while I used Mirror Image when I NPC'ed you, as of yet it hasn't done anything for you as you're character is always been safely behind ours. That miht be traded in for a more damagin spell as well, perhaps an Agnazarrs (sp) scorcher since you seem to like fire, or another Melf's acid arrow.

Just a thought, Vorrioch might have some pointers too

whatever...

works best for the game. I honestly don't like mirror image or whatever, and I won't use sleep either, but *Shrugs* I'll take anything, I don't know spells, so Vor, whatever you feel fit throw in, Kaelyn knows me much too well, I'm a pyro what can I say

On that note

If all casters can make their to be prepared spells known to each other, we can better work to unify and bolste each other..
Vanima, Valendara I'm lookin at you two.

Obviously I'm a Healer/ Buffer but if we can compliment each other we can make our limited spells go longer.

Let me know.

sure

it works for me. And I agree...isn't it true that mages, or whatever we are can learn each others spells?

ok

Scorcher is out because noone knows it but ...
Valenara should let Vanima copy Melf's Acid arrow and blindness (Very useful) in exchange for something. Perhaps invisibility and ray of enfeeblement.

Anywho, you all discuss.. bedtime for me, I hoe to see a nice spell list of what we'll have for friday when I awaken. *Crosses fingers*

If You want Emmy to prepare other spells let me know and I'll work around what spells you can cast as a cleric Brianna.

Question the Gnoll.

Where is Thalgrim's Base?
Gnoll: “High beneath white mountains, to sun sets from Wolf’s Head Pass. Near stone-camp of not-your-kind on trail from here.”

How many under his control?
Gnoll: “Many. Many tribes. More gather each day.” *Lets out a great, ragged laugh, tongue lolling from its jaws*. “Enough that all this be ours soon, no place for your kind then.”

Emmerus: *Slaps gnoll on nose with rolled up newspaper*

Gnoll: *Snarls* *Lunges to try to bite off Emmerus’ face again* *Has to be wrestled back*. “Line twenty hairless human paws together and we are still more. Many more. Many as flies on deer-carcass when ripe and rotten, many as needles on pine tree come winter. Hrazak Vül! Hrazak Vül!”

What races under his control?
Gnoll: "Many, all tribes gather! It is in our hearts, in our blood! In sleep-visions when night fails! Come from caves and hills for many days around. My people, more of Thalgrim’s too, Svaga swarming from tunnels below, hunter-chasers from highest mountain peaks."

When is his Attack planned for?
Gnoll: *Fixes you with a look of utter hatred, testing the bounds of its ropes once more.* “When Thalgrim gives word…. not long now. Stone-camp falls first, much to be taken below, then hunt south. Your kind? Weak and stupid, no stomach for fight. We feast well then.”

(Anyone else got anything to ask... go for it! )
