Lucky Three

Oh so near I hear the call of the faeries, Their echoing voices sing songs that carry. I run towards the calls, through the winds of the trees, And suddenly I hault, and what 'tis it me sees? A glow given from angelic wings. The creature stepped out from behind the sticks, looked me in the eye, and gave her hand three licks. Then the other she licked, three times as well, and said: "Lucky Three"...then she fell. She hit the ground three times with her fist, Then disintegrated...starting at the wrist. When she was gone, her wings still lay; They flapped three times, then went away.
