I would memorize the spell Polymorph other (4x) and cast it on 4 players. Then I would sleep again and cast it on the other four players. The problem with that is by the time you slept the spell may have run its course and the first 4 would be normal again.

Best thing to do is discuss it with the party IN GAME and see what they think.

Yes obviously but just wanted to see if that was a possible thing to do. I expect that the spell would run out by the time I polymorphed the others...which is why I would polymorph and they would run as fast as their little spider legs could carry them (which all of us afraid of spiders know is quite fast) and find somewhere their human forms could stand up in, or at least sit in and wait for the rest of us.

Ack, did a Post Tuesday, Lost it when posted after too great a time lag while creating it. That hadn't happened to me in a long time. SO frustrating. The second post is never the same as the first one. SIGH

Well so far in this game I've had some not grand results. I was thinking of changing into a giant mole and digging the tunnel larger.

Not entirely sure what to post really... Not much has changed in the new update. Still trapped and not a whole lot my character can do really. Everyone else has it covered.

The characters should discuss the possibilities while my familiar goes to investigate what he mischief he can get himself into.

You as players need to post something even if it goes nowhere to give me something to work with. If you don't post I then having nothing to post about dealing with the party and then I post what I think is right to get us moving forward in which case I take the ability to choose away from you, the players.

Personally I dislike railroading you guys into doing what I want you to do and try to always give at least 2 choices.

Case in point, take Tunnel or a trip across a giant worm infested looking plain..............

Ohh a giant worm! Maybe we can catch it and use it later to catch giant fish.

Tann's usual "choices":

1. Party does something and ends up serious hurt and in danger of dying

2. Party does something and dies!

At least they are still choices

... usually bad choices.... typical DM

I could always give you the choices, and this is only an example of course , of fighting the Dragon or staying at an inn sleeping..............

Now how boring is that................
