No wonder there are so few elves left in the world...

It's not like she's eating them

Or catching them for that matter. She just cooks the meat she's given.

Not that she wouldn't totally nibble on a cute elf in a less deadly situation. *hums*

Fear the Halfling Females.............

Well like song says "She's a Man Eater"....

And Halflings do what they must to survive. They may seems "Cute and Adorable, but that is one there better weapons.

Welcome to the game.

I'm just wondering what Tann has in mind to get us all together!

Nothing like a hidden portal to wisk you away. The giants may be the guardians of the secrect enterance and don't know it.

A small tunnel behind a loose bolder, a strange rune, by chance touched, a shiny glow, "flash" and there you are in the temple room fighting minions!

Could be...

Or it may be that those Giants are waiting outside (or nearby), having lunched on our horses, familiars and animal companions...

Going to be cooking forever...

Do you guys think you'd be better with a basil and oregano pesto or perhaps Hollandaise sauce?

Ody gets it. We're bubbly and sweet and adorable, right up until we tie you up and take all your valuables.

hmm.

Not sure it would be possible to make anything tasty out of Ayreon. He's too stringy to make a proper dinner. Then again perhaps the giants don't really care. I'm sure they've had worse.

Right

Paladins are too uptight to be tasty. *nods*

Reminds me of Dark Sun...

Where halflings are both the oldest race on Athas, and almost all barbaric cannibals...

I remember too

Aaah... Dark Sun, some very good memories from the past. I haven't really been a big fan of (A)D&D worlds outside of Forgotten Realms, but there was something about Dark Sun I liked very, very much. Maybe it was the cruelness, despair and harshness of the environment. Oh and the low level of magic. Loved it!

Yep

Yep, it was one of the better AD&D settings out there (although I do like my Ravenloft).

It also teaches PCs a very important lesson: beware the halfling cook!

Well aren't you a fine cut of meat?

Valene would like to stop having to cook people, but she also would like to accomplish this without her own death. She believes that it is easier to live life to the fullest if you are in fact alive.

Great Things Come in Small Packages........

Well Ulthok will like the fact that there is a beautiful women in the party that he can look in the eye without having to stand on a chair.

The others may see her as a small child figure, but Ulthok knows the strength and passion that pluses so vibrently in the heart and soul of those glorious creatures know as the women of "The Folk." It is after all a goddess that watches over them and a bit of that goddess is in each of them.

Also Cor had better watch it, the halfling women are better drinkers than many Dwarves too, lol.
