Posting...

Haven't had a chance to post yet. Might not get it in before the update, in that case will back post. Sorry, with the semester starting in two days I'm up to my eyeballs in syllabi and student emails. Will be back to normal this coming week.

Ten years? I've only been with you for about 3 and a half. I looked back and saw that Kyle was an original but playing a different character.

Nimu and Keeper have been here longer too, so that's not bad to have so many folks rolling with the story.

Well, "Game On!"

Actually

Keeper, along with Kyle, are the only 10 year starter players left. Keeper's first rdinn avi was Mottle.

hair brained skeems

so the plan i came up with is trap/ignite the mist.

i have no idea if it would actually work or not just a plan popped into my head an i figured it would be an interesting turn vs. the hack/slash method.

i was wondering if Xin would be able to ignite the sheet beings he's an elemental?

or if someone else can it gives a small opening for char interactions ..idk

Running Late

Ok crazy week so I'm running late on the post. I should have it up by Weds if I get a chance to slow down.

My apologies but feel free to continue posting

Secret Passages...

I've PM'd a couple of you but thought I may as well bring it to all here in Q&A.

There may be secret passages that can get us to the Queen quicker, we need to state that we are actively looking for them. Cor and Barreel have great Dwarven senses for moving walls and passages. Alyia, Rayne and Sirene have the Eleven ability to find them too. We all need to let it be known we are looking. Ulthok can find traps but doesn't seem to have the same ability to find secret passages.

A passage may also get us out of the halls where we are more easily found by the enemy.

Wow will wonders never cease

What have I always said as the DM hmmm....

You have to tell me in your posts that your ACTIVILY doing something. Just because you have the ability does not mean its automatic at least in my games. Unless you say ACTIVILY looking for traps, treasure, secret passages and so on I consider your not looking for them. The party in its various membership has missed so much loot since the game started that you could all retire in mansions made of gold .

Some really cool items I have had to 'rehide' in place of other items just to have the 2nd chance possibility of finding them yet once again nope walked rt past it .

Its all good tho as it makes me smile and laugh at how the game goes sometimes.

A thought

How about instead of making us each post "I am actively looking" for each of our abilities we simply agree as a party and DM that when say we are checking the room it is implied that it is a full check with all our abilities. If we want to move quickly we will say "A quick search is made" meaning we are just basically looking around.

Short Break

Ok as we are down to only 6 active players I'm putting Trilogy on a short hiatus to try and fill 3 of the 4 open character slots.

I don't want you all going into this fight not at full player strength. So bare with me and we'll get the players we need

As for Keeper's idea, tho it has merit, in most table top games the DM has the characters state they are looking or using a skill same difference here.

All that is needed is a small line in or out of the game post stated what your doing. Just like Nimu and the spell casters state what spell they are casting same thing here. I will use Keeper's idea to help speed up the game in area's where a casual search would be normal so lets see how it goes

How we stand

Ok Flirts on Rayne
Hammer's on Roan
And Vesper's on Lothor for at least the battle then will be bringing in his own created character. As such we are good to go and the game will officially restart tomorrow and I'll post next Sunday.

Welcome back to all 3

Lothor.

I don't really have the time to do a lot of backreading. (Trilogy is not light reading, lol) So if I could get some basic help into lothor's style/personality from those who have been his companions, that would be nice. This way I could try and play him to character.
