Hello there, Innmates! Uncle Run-With-Scissors, here, wishing you a happy go-lucky, facelickity day!

Now that we have the pleasantries out of the way, let's get down to business, shall we?

As you may have noticed, recently, our webmaster and his support staff have been working to update, upgrade, and otherwise up-stuff our beloved Inn. We've got a new post editor, notification issues have been fixed, and several other goodies are in the works to be implemented in the near future. As part of this beautification effort, I'd like to start cleaning up posts that may have been effected by a "post-crash" formatting bug in which several characters (mostly "smart quotes,"  elipses, and the like that copy and pasted from Word or other editors) have been replaced by those annoying little question mark diamonds, thereby making said posts nearly unreadable without bugging out your brain! So, dear Innmates, if you see or know of any posts or threads that are infested with stuff like this...

�Don�t he owe you money?� Could be a good turn for us if�n he�d be so kind as to pay up, Sam thought rubbing a hand across his stubbled cheek, but, if Grif�s as haggard as �is ship, I don�t reckon that�ll pan out none. Don�t reckon it�ll count a tally aginst Wyatt�s three, neither, gorram it!

...Post here or shoot me a PM and I'll get to work on cleaning those things up for you! If it gets to be toooooo much, I may even enlist some help from the community, so, if anyone has the time or inclination to assist in this effort, post that interest here, as well.

Again let me be the first lol

My Trilogy War is infested with them and they start on page 1. I cleared the History of the world of them on my own, but the whole thread looks like a horror scene. Had planned on doing it myself but never got around to it cause thats a lot of pages lol. If you want to clean it up thats up to you, but thats a lot of work in just 1 thread Eol. Your call my friend.

As you said, that's a LOT of posts to clean up so, of course, it'll take a while. I'll work on them as I can.

Edit: I'll keep a list of requested clean ups i(and any progress on them) n the first post of this thread.

This is a huge task and we WILL need volunteers to do it. Break the inn into sections and assign them out was my thoughts on the matter. But until we get the ADMIN permissions straighten out, we can't start up with the new staff editing. But if you want to get started Rob, I salute you!

Depending on the amoutn of techincal knowledge required, I would be willing to throw in an hour or 2 to help clean up some posts.

Fortune's Favored got hit at some point. Only some of the posts though, and its only a handful of pages.

Fortune's Favored has been added to the list. I've kind of been going back and forth between the threads listed above as I get the time. I'll get into this one in the near future.

Also, when things get straightened out, I'd be happy to devote a bit of time each day to helping clean up.
