Artura again resisted the urge as he left. "Annoying bastard..."

He looked down at his sword.

"You know I can cut almost anything with this...I could lop that thing right in two...like ripping a napkin..."

"Forget it, back to our convgersation." She raised her eyes to his again.

"I was just saying that I need you...you're the only tension reliever I've got."

He was almost promising he'd rejoin the group.

"That is, if you'll listen to my damn advice."

"Oh." She looked dissapointed. "I will, if you want."

"Fine then, don't. But I'll still be watching after you..."

"I WILL." Artura turned. "Are you staying with us?"

"I'm staying with you, but I don't know about the others...think of me as your body guard now...I don't want to be associated with any of those other...people."

He almost spat the word 'people'.

Artura put a hand to his face. "Why do you dislike them?"

Her hand was soaked in blood the instant she touched him, but it seemed she didn't mind.

"I don't like the Kender for obvious reasons, the werewolf...is hot headed...and Ella...to childish. Your the only person like me here."

She chuckled. "Well, that's a relief."

"If any of the others were like us, we might all be back at camp in bed...and not sleeping thats for sure."

He mind thought about him and all three women. He smiled sickly. That would be interesting, impossible...but interesting.

Artura smirked. "I suppose." She dropped her hand.

"Now you're covered in demon blood." He wondered why she hadn't asked why he was drenched in blood.

"Ah well, I don't really care. It's inisde me too." She gave him and eyebrow raised smile.
