Dawn slowly approached Donald and the girl. It was funny how she loved everything, but was suddenly too scared to meet this girl. However... She was going to be a big girl for Donald.

Dawn saw she had dropped her stuff and smiled. "Need some help? I'm Dawn, by the way, and this is Adrian. That's Eli."

Dawn bent down to aid her, even though she had a fear of it.

Kate looked up at the other girl. She was very pretty... She found herself slightly envious, but shook it off. Such an annoying emotion.

"Oh...Allo. Nice t'meet y'all." She smiled and blushed a bit, worried her accent would get annoying. "I'm so sorry about this, erm... Thanks very much..."

She finally gathered all the CDs with the girl's aid and stood up, rubbing the back of her head sheepishly.

"My name's Kate. Kate McKinley." She held her hand out tentatively for a shake.

Dawn moved her hand slow to grasp hers. "Dawn, like I already said. I'm future Light."

She smiled shyly. "Sorry, can't help but brag sometimes."

"Oooh, wow! Not exactly sure what that is but it sure sounds important. Heh..." She blushed, rubbing her head again.
"Not too familiar with this witch thing..."

"Oh, you weren't raised into it?"

Dawn found herself lowering her guard.

"Well then, let me put it this way. There is a figure that holds each element's power with their own. They live in a psirit realm, and every so often, take a human lover and give birth to a child who will one day take over their position. I am the future Light Godess. Don here is the future Earth God, and Eli is my body guard." Suddenly, her tone turned deffensive. "And I love Don with all my heart, as Light and Earth have always been lovers." She hoped Kate caught the message.

Kate caught the message. Not that she needed any warning; she had had her eye on another for awhile...

"Nah, I've had them but... It was my secret, and anyway, there were... I had some personal difficulty, but..." She paused, composing her suddenly flustered self.
"Well, I had some... emotional trouble, and my powers faltered, but I'm alright now. Just learning. I'm a water witch, I suppose you'd say? But wow, that's...wow. I can't imagine having that sort of prestige..."

She gawked at Dawn in awe.

Dawn blushed and looked at Donald instead.

"It's fun sometimes... but there are those who want you power..."

"Ah, yeah, I can imagine... But that's one reason why I'm so impressed..." She stopped her incessant staring, knowing it made Dawn uncomfortable.

"Well, at least I don't have to worry about Jacobi anymore."

Dawn looked back and smiled ackwardly.

"Jacobi...? Uhm... Mind if I ask about that too, or...?" She had an awkward smile on.

Dawn winced at the memory of her brother and the demon. She would never be able to forget...

"He was my brother... Don and Adrian saved me from having him kill me by using me as transport for a demon."

He got up, gently moving her off of him. He went out into the garden and walked in the night. It was soothing.

"Oh..." She looked guilty now.
"I...I'm sorry I brought up somethin' painful..."

"It's fine."

Dawn did, however, step up against Donald.

The night air was cool against his skin. He found a gondola and sat down, looking longingly at the sky. He couldn't bring her back with him...
