Your up to it? Of course its only you and me...wtf?

"I'm fine with that."

He lowered is head and touched his lips with hers gently. Their auras mixed again, flashing violently. When their lips touched, a bolt of lightning cracked outside the window, followed by the resounding crash of thunder.

Her body grew warm, and he did not know why. Was it him? It had to be. Where she was once cold, she was now filled with heat, and the warmth was brought out of him, so where he was once arm, he was now cool. He liked this feeling.

Hehs!

Poison pressed against him and held the back of his head. Dark tendrils twisted around them, bonding them.

Ohh!!! Didn't see this one coming!

Thats when he remembered Dawn. He felt her hands, her body, her lips. He pulled himself back and shook his head.

"I...I'm sorry..."

It's me...

Poison grimaced and turned away. "The fault is mine. I will never be Dawn." She started to leave.

No...

"No...No...you so beautiful...and perfect. Better than her...but it's just a little too soon. Maybe later on tonight? You could stay here, I could make a room for you..."

If you please

"I have my own abode in the garden. I do not need a room here, but I'll stay if you wish." Poison looked back at him.

Ah...

"I do want...I need...but I refuse to hold you against your will, although I know I wouldn't be able to even if I tried."

He opened a semi-transparant door to his left that led into a lavishly furnished room.

"The master chambers are all yours. Anything else you'll be needing?"

He said it playfully, not expecting a playful answer back. No matter how much he didn't want to be near her, he couldn't help acting this way around her.

Hm... nope, no responce

She looked at him with her onyx eyes. Poison smiled alittle, but didn't respond to his question. She began to look through the room, not looking at him while she did so.

I see...hard to get?

He watched her as she rummaged through the chambers. He held out his right hand and summoned a plush divan, already cushioned, for him to sleep on while she enjoyed the comfort of the four poster bed.

He sat down on the divan and removed his armor, stripping down until he was only in his loose fitting undershorts. He ran a hand along his back. Even in death, the scars of the werewolf remained. He then ran another hand across his face, and found Alexanders mark to still be quite prominant.

He layed down on the divan and stretched out, cracking his left leg comfortably as he continued to watch Poison through the clear walls. Walls in this home were useless, but he figured she was sure smart enough to know that.

Shadow Whisperer!

Poison finished and sighed. Dark snakes of shadow hovered around her, dancing like lithe black flames. Poison touched one, and it wrapped around her finger. She smiled at it, like it was a friend.

Hmmm

He looked at her through the blurred wall. She was doing something he couldn't quite make out. He didn't mind. He could fall asleep as it was right here and now. He wouldn't get anywhere tonight, not because of her, but because of himself. He was too afraid she would end up like Dawn, although tradition told him different. It wasn't the memory of Dawn that kept him at bay, it was the memory of the pain he'd gone through when she'd lied to him. He didn't want that anymore.

Mad

Poison felt his pain, knowing that it was HER fault. Dawn had ruined Adrian. Poison hoped that she and Donald would be happy though.

THAT took a long time...

He couldn't sleep. He sat up and ran a hand through his white hair...it was white again, and it wouldn't go back.

He stood up and moved over to a window, glacing out at the garden three stories below. He felt a pair of imaginary hands around his waist, and turned to see Dawn, but she faded before he could say anything. He didn't love her, he never really did. She was just the first person to show him any kind of happiness ever...then she lied to him...tore it to pieces. Ruined it all.

He looked through the wall at Poison, she was staring at him. She looked away quickly as he caught her gaze. He figured she noticed him get up, and him not wearing much at all wasn't helping. He considering clothing himself again, but thought against it, sleeping in armor was much too difficult. He ran a hand along the wall and waited for her to say something. The silence was too much for him.

Question

"You miss her..." Poison questioned. Her eyes were down, she wouldn't look at him.

No...

"No" he said through clenched teeth. His hand curled into a fist and moved itself from the wall.

"I thought I did...I don't miss her. I was a fool to think there was any hope. I had just never been happy before...and she filled that void. But she's a liar...a cheater and a no good backstabber."

He turned around, a tear welling in his left eye.

"I miss you though..."

He found it odd he could already miss someone who was only feet away from him.
