"Just so you know...the school is still in danger."

Donald watched everyone look at him.

"Alexander wasn't doing all those killings. Somebody is still out there. I wonder how many he killed under all the distractions caused today?" Donald offered his substance to everyone around.

Edward declined the herb, but lit one of his own cigarettes. It had been a long day, and he needed a smoke.

"Yes, let's regroup for a moment, and figure out exactly what the source of all this is, and how to stop it."

Dawn nodded. "I know we need to."

He had ignored the others. He didn't even know what they were talking about. He head was spinning around, and he saw everything for the first time.

He tocuhed a flower, a long plant that survived the chaos, and it grew, and blossomed.

He snapped his fingers, and fire shot out, he exhaled, and cold misty water srayed his face. He waved his hand, and a little tornado popped up in his palm.

He could control it...it was his now...

Edward thought for a moment, "You know, it would be something to know what sort of magic we're working against. Whatever it was used Adrian as a pawn, so it's something much stronger than any of us...but all of us together...we might just stand a chance!"

Hex purred lovingly at this idea and her eyes changed color from green to red. The hunt was on.

Dawn shied away from them. "I don't want to hurt anyone..."

He heard the words from the fire mages mouth...Edward...and almost scoffed.

"No...I don't want any more to do with this. I don't trust you, or him..." he glared at Donald...the one who inccured Alexanders wrath.

Ye he trusted Dawn. He saw a light in her that no one could extinguish. He felt as if he owed her something.

"If I may be so bold as to interject... I may have come across something that may be of some interest to you all. It took me a while to find you but... I did, eventually." The voice was a bit high pitched, but faintly resemblance of the young man from earlier. It came from a butterfly, maroon in color and it perched upon Donald's shoulder. "Come back to the courtyard and wait by the rose vines, I'll let you in once you four are there." The wings waved up and down a few more times before it left its perch and then headed back into the air. "Please hurry... there's much more here than I can really handle myself." He sounded more annoyed as some fumbling of some objects was heard as the butterfly flew off.

Dawn held up her hands and teleported them all. She was slowly weakening from all her magic using...

He would have lashed out, but he refused the hurt Dawn.

"No...I told you already, I'm done with this. Let me out of this. I don't want anything more to do with you people..."

He was getting frustrated. He was terrified he'd lose his own mind again, and he only wanted to be normal for once.

"So you're gonna leave me with all men? No offense, but you haven't been all over me like those two..." Dawn looked at him pleadingly. "For me?"

He almost felt as if his mind was being controlled again, but it wasn't that...what was the look she gave him. Honesty...so...strange.

He said nothing, but didn't leave. He would stay, if only to repay Dawn for his life.

When they all arrived before the rose vines they fidgeted and then opened like a curtain, inviting them in. Once inside they would see a large pile of books in the far southwestern corner with, what was supposed to be, a desk. Some of the books were common lit., others were more of the 'exotic' kind. A hand stuck forth from the pile of books, it twitched a few times as Algus lay there under all of his tomes. His voice was muffled by the leather bound catastrophe. "Could you all please dig me out... this is rather uncomfortable..." He sounded a bit pained.

She smiled and tapped her foot. With a flick of her hand, a gust blew the books away.

With a blast of air, he moved the strewn books into a pile and huffed. He was already in too deep.
