sorry (not really)

I've been waiting on this trap for a while, now.  Sorry.

Not really.  But, you know...

Yeah, I didn't believe there was any sincerity to that apology, at all... and, of course, I didn't expect anything good to come of entering the room.

*sighs* Not much to do, now, but start taking off arms and heads, I suppose.

Should have killed Garn in the dark and made it look like a giggler got him!

wow

I'm actually a little scared of Aranwen, myself, right now.  I don't want her to know that I'm the one actually behind this!

I'm not able to really visualize the room proper, but from my understanding it is a room with several doorways opposite the gate we entered, most of which are small cells, one or more leading further in.

Given the halls are narrow, if we know the path they are coming from by Gib's magic, Aranwen will either

  1. block the path to buy time while the gate is dealt with
    -or-
  2. push forward with the party on the hope that they can get to the enemy mage and perhaps where the undead are coming from, and be able to stop the creatures from overrunning our position

The cell area is a larger room, you cannot see the end of it from where you are at.  You can easily have three or four people stand abreast, but there are iron doors (bars) at regular intervals on both walls that appear to be cells or the like.  Aranwen can run point, but she cannot physically block the entire hallway alone.

Nobody in the group has the magical means to open the gate.  Nobody has the skill to pick the lock (insert innocent whistling here).  So you'll need to either force the gate off the hinges, break the gate somehow, or locate a key.

I mean, if you ask nicely, the ghoul horde coming will surely take five while you fiddle with the gate.  Right?

In that case

2 seems the much better alternative without the benefit of a single point to defend. So we'll proceed with a Gib, Aranwen and Ch'dau as the front line while advancing down the hall. I'll amend my post to that effect a bit later

I'm with the Khatun!

Ch'dau is FULLY pissed! His intent is to kill everything (his friends being obvious exceptions) in this room and anything else beyond it. Assuming he makes it out, of course. *paws crossed*

Cry Havoc and let slip the Cat of war!

And crank the battle jams!

I'll have you know
That I've become
Indestructible
Determination that is incorruptible
From the other side
A terror to behold
Annihilation will be unavoidable
Every broken enemy will know
That their opponent had to be invincible
Take a last look around while you're alive
I'm an indestructible master of war

And here I sit on a conference call with all this adrenaline burning in my brain... gonna be a FUN meeting!

P.S. "K'pan de'cha" basiclly translates to something like "worm ridden POS" if anyone was interested.
