Showing my 2e unfamiliarity again

Two questions, do Sylvari resistances including paralysis, and has it been tested with a giggler yet?

Sylvari are resistant to ghoul paralysis.  Aranwen has been injured several times by them, but has never been paralyzed.

Ooooooooooo!!!!

Nice silver-screen, boss! Creepy AF, but nice all the same.

Breebles - I had been wondering for a while how half-syl resistance to the ghoul attacks would be, myself... Until Kith got mauled in that last encounter. Now we know... and knowing is half the battle... the other half is unfettered violence.

Post for grumpy-cat in the works.

Maybe she's more resistant and just failed a save?  Maybe it's all dumb luck?  Who knows?

Glad you've enjoyed the latest chapter of "Silver Screen Moments of the Damned".

True enough...

...in the course of doing the retcon, I seem to recall another of our troupe managing to resist... was it Midge? I can't recall off the top of my head... anyway... *shrugs* ... Aranwen's fought it off a good couple of times, so, keep swinging, Bladesinger!

Maybe the ghoul paralysis was inside the half-Sylvari the whole time.
As Gandhi said, "be the ghoul paralysis you want to see in the world".

And yeah, the Silver Screen Nazi-Scientist Experiment of the Damned side-plot is getting creepier and creepier!

Creepier?  This one didn't even have talons sticking out of the doomed mother's abdomen.  I thought it was pretty tame, myself.

Oh jeez, I think I repressed that memory until you just brought it up again.

Yes, that as far as gores-ville is concerned it's creepier. As part of some organization's master monster race experiments, it's creepy to me in a different way.

Just all around creepy, Olan, you're checking off all the creepy boxes.

That... that is one of the nicest things anyone has ever told me, as a GM.

Thank you!

Love hearing some bladesinger training lore!

I'm a bit busy these next few days so I may not be able to get my post up until next week, but I'll try to get one up as soon as I can so we can run willy-nilly around in that death cave!

where we go from here

So, I've had to change the plot up a bit in Hidden Corruption.  I hated for the game to end in a TPK in the woods like that, so I pulled a bit of a deus ex machina.  Davena and Garn were not supposed to be there, but it was the only plausible way I could come up with to save you guys.

It did throw a big monkeywrench into the plot, though.  I've been floating here, trying to figure out how to get there from here.

Last night, I talked it through with Noah (my twelve year old son), who has been following the game in update form through me.  I know what's going to happen, now.

It's going to bring in a new wrinkle to the main plotline, something I had never planned to do... but really, really does make sense.  It's also going to ramp up the horror/ick factor to somewhere between eleven and... forty-three?

*chants*

Forty-Three! Forty-Three! Forty-Three! Forty-Three! Forty-Three!

Unless that'd kill us all... then I'm all for 11.
