OOC:Sorry guys got to do a bit of a catch up.
IC:ALex awoke with a start and dripping in a deep sweat. It had been months since he had a nightmare but the dream that he'd had months ago reappeared. He was standing in the middle of a deseret with blue flashes of magical lightning when something started started growling behind him. Then he heard screams of people as they started to get ripped a part. He would walk a little bit to find a body with it's face down in the dirt. He slowly turned the body over to see him staring face to face with himself and as he stared into those god forsaken eyes he saw something with wings flying. Then he would wake up.
Alex grabbed the holy symbol around his neck. "What are you trying to tell me vecna." He mutters to himself.
Alex grabs a new set of robes and puts it on then heads downstairs to find that the party has already left. He curses and heads for the stables where he finds Zara talking to a stablehand. He waits until Zara is done then asks the stablehand where Vecna's great steed is. The Stable hand shows Alex to his horse and Alex hands him a copper piece in return. Then hopes on his horse.
Turning to Zara, "Well little one are you ready for another adventure." Then quietly to himself " And may all the gods of this world be with us."

Telepathically he says to Dae. "I was given the ring by the same prince who gave you the mission to the burrans. And I know all to well about the Pirate Captain and his bounty. Oh yes I know more then you can even imagine about all three of you. But don't worry my lips are sealed by Verna."

Subject: Gentler side
Kelen could see in Holly's eyes that she didn't trust him he assumed that she thought he was reckless in going and fighting a battle all by himself and maybe she was right. But to Kelen that was all part of his job as a scout. But Kelen also saw a tinkle of something else in her eyes something that puzzled him, he thought he saw compation and A pure awe of what he wasn't sure but there was something about her that made his heart skip a couple of beats. No surely he was imagining things. He had just lost a lot of blood that was all and he still hadn't recovered yet. He turned and faced Holly again, and again his heart skipped a couple of beats. He wasn't imagining things this was real, he had fallen head over hills for Holly. He headed back to his tent to get some rest. But all he could think about was how kind the elvin lady was. Then he finally fell asleep

Kelen awakens a little light headed. He listens as the other soldiers kill the last man.
Turning to James. " What the heck do you think you are doing? I gave you a direct order that I wanted him alive for questioning. If you ever disobey another direct order again I will personally behead you and put your head on that spear over there." He yells pointing to a spear not twenty feet away. " and I'll stick in the ground right in front of my tent as a warning to all the other troops who even think of disobeying a direct order, Do you understand me?!"
Kelen then turns to Holly and fills a little dizzy. As holly tries to steady him he holds onto her hand. "I'm fine." he replies then he slowly but steadily makes his way back to camp.

Alex decides to go and see what all the commotion is about in the next room. When he enters he see's the elvin lady he saw in the hall and a short man wearing a dark green robe hovering over a dead body.
"Great Verna." The high preist curses. He then watches the elvin lady that he saw in in the hall turns over the body and see's the knife wound and judging ny the look of disapproval on the elvin ladies face he could tell that the wound didn't kill the intruder itself but that it had something to help it, poison he prosumed.
"What happend here?" he asks to no one in perticualer.

Kelen screams out in pain as the blade sturck him in the side. Now he was pissed he grabs one of the rebels by the hair and proceeds to scalp him making sure that he cut just low enough to to get a piece of the rebel's brain giving the rebel a slow and painful death. He then pulled out four arrows and put the scalp on one of the arrows and stuck it into the ground standing up. he then took the other three arrows and took a feather off each arrow so they would all fire in different directions sticking he hoped the three rebels that just passed him. And pulled back the sting on his bow and released. Sending all three arrows in the direction of their targets. One left Kelen made a mental note. And seeing the rage of Kelen the other rebel was hiding.
Look, Dirtwipe I'm injured and I don't want to waste my time and my energy searching for ya. Kelen thoug!ht to himself.
"Come out where I can see ya!" Kelen yells
The rebel starts to make a run for it. Kelen Pulls out another arrow ands releases it sticking in the back of the knee. The rebel stumbles but gets right back up and starts running with a bit of a limp. Kelen thinks to himself and groans. Kelen runs after the rebel blood now gushing out of his wound and sticks with his sword into the rebels injured knee. The rebel falls to the ground and doesn't get back up.
Turning to James "What are you standing around for grap some men and help carry this one off, we'll keep him alive for questioning."
Kelen then places his sword in the ground and leans on it heavily. Turning to one of the soldiers "And you there call for a medic I need to be treated at once." and with that all of Kelen's energy goes away and he collapes.

Subject: time to join the ranks
The call to arms was echoing all thoughout the camp. But Kelan didn't need the warning he already knew the battle was coming. He ran outside the tent with his shortsword already attached to his belt. He heard more then saw the ten rebels running to the bridge. And he saw arrows flying all around him. This wasn't the heat of it and Kelan knew it there were still a larger army coming and it was Kelan's job to find them. Kelan quickly and efficiently went though the back way looking for the rebels. He could hear them getting closer but he still couldn't see them.
"Come on." He yelled "Are you to afraid to attack one little soldier." After he said this he started to realize that he had made a terrible mistake.
"Maviar, quickly they're sneacking in though the back as well."
But Kelan could already tell that all the attention was on the first wave and the archers. He was going to have to fight them alone and hope that he could hold them off until the first wave was finished.

The high preist turns away from the elvin lady and heads back into his room. Where he sits by the window and watchs as the dwarven mage hopple of. The poor creature. Alex thinks to himself. He must of been though some pretty amazing battles to have the scars that he had on him.
Alex waits as his roommate and his pet woverine walk into the room then he turns to them and says "Welcome my Friend I am Alex Trueblood High priest of Vecna I will be staying with you tonight. And who might you be good brother.

Subject: The New Cleric
A tall human standing 5'6" wearing brown robes and very broad around the shoulders knells at the alter of Vecna God of secerets, he was just about finished when a man looking like elvin royalty walks in.
"Leave." The human instructs his lower priests.
The lower priests leave, leaving the head priest and the prince alone.
"What may I do for you today my lord?" the high priest asks.
"I have a mission for you from the stars." The prince replies.
"Ah, and what might this mission be?"
The prince leans in closer and whispers into the high priests ear.
THe high priests eyes lighten with delight. "Your joking right, a creature living in the Barrens. After all these years I would have never imagined. So where do I meet your Party that is supposed to find this creature?"
The prince tells the high priest that the party is not to far from the temple in the local tavern, but that the high priest had better hurry because the party was leaving by day light.
The high priest thanks the prince.And just as he is about to leave the prince grabs him by the arm and hands him a ring. "It will let the other members know you are sent by me.
The High priest thanks the prince again and heads to the tavern. Where he finds a clerk, he holds up his ring and the clerk shows him to his room. But before the high priest enters his room he turns around to face the elven women standing in the hall appearently on alert.
"Do you need any help?" he asks her with a puzzled tone to his voice.
