I have already emailed Trip about this but for the rest of you .... My apologies for a lack of posts this last week .... My mother came to visit me in NYC from North Carolina and while we were out sight seeing she tripped on the sidewalk and the poor thing broke both wrists rather badly ... Needless to say she required a bit of hands on care. Anywho ... I have successfully driven her back to NC and am now free to resume our litle game here ... I will catch up on all posts in the Q+A and Orlane threads and make posts for Kitai to try and " catch up "

Kitai gathered his gear and shouldered his pack. The dwarf , Doogan, had mentioned Deathstalker had wandered east thru town. So east it was ... Kita gripped his staff and scanned the streets of Orlane as they walked. Appearing casual but staying wary Kiati wondered when they would get some sort of solid lead as to what was going on around here. Patience had never been Kitai's strong suit like most of his long lived race. This lack of patience had gotten him into trouble before and would no doubt do it again... Kitai slipped some of the figs that Gunther had given him earlier in the trip into the sleeze of his loose fitting travel robe, where they disappeared in an instant and a low humming noise issued from the sleeve's depths....
*** Kitai is going to let Doogan lead .. I will be friendly with anyone i should meet but always be ready for any funny business... As we walk i will try and stay as close to Doogan as possible since i am squishy and would rather not get pulped in case voilence arises ...

I think Darque's plan is sound , though i would have to agree w/ Elephant on waiting to see what comes of Gunther's conversation w/ the farmer before we decide to break up into seperate groups.

I assume you mean for Paladins? Paladin spells are generally curative in nature ... cure wounds , remove disease , posion , death ward , etc. ....
Been a while since i played 2nd edition but i believe you won't be getting any spells until 9th level or so ... and that is a lllllooooonnnngggggg way off at the pace i imagine we will be moving.
If you meant Wizard spells ... i generally like a bit of crowd control for my guys ..spells like web , hypnotism , sleep,etc. Us wizard types get very few casts per day at low levels so i generally try and pick spells that effect more than one person/creature when i can.

I am cool w/ Darque being our leader/spokesperson .... he lives/lived in North Carolina so he cant be all bad ...lol
As an aside I have played D&D since the early 80's thru all its editions ... so I am fairly familiar w/ the rules etc.
Also I have given Trip my spells etc ..so all good on that front

Subject: Kitai the Mage
Kitai listened to the merchant with baited breath. A mere two weeks after arriving in Hochoch from 18 months at sea here was the chance he had been waiting for..... ADVENTURE!!!
Kitai tried to look calm and collected as he made his way to the the table. He eyed the rest of the room trying to mark those who might join the quest to help the villagers.
Despite being a High Elf , Kitai bucked the traditional haughty values that most of his kind displayed. Years serving on a merchant vessel had made him more accepting of other races and their values .... It had also sparked his thirst for adventure and knowledge leading him to this very moment.
Kitai expressed his desire to help , pocketed the 25 gp, and retreated back to his table waiting to see who else would be going ....

Howdy there all!!
My wizard is all but done ... just working on equipment and a little back story. Please welcome Kitai the High Elf wizard to the fold.
I can't wait to mix it up w/ you guys soon. Sad really that I use the Duel II forums to find other games to play since I quit my 20+ year addiction to Duelmasters....but oh well
