Topic: 3.5 Rule questions
Subject: Note...

Note: I think you can't use Turning/Rebuking without a holy symbol. Also you can repel vampires with them. My advice is to carry spares. I once made a Vampire who carried adamantine Sais (throwing weapons) to sunder holy symbols with.

Subject: The Maquis

Maquis is not a planet, nor is it a culture. It's a terrorist group. A character could be from one of the ex-Federation colonies on the Cardassian side of the border, where the Maquis operate.

Subject: Doctors and Starfleet

In the recent Trek film, McCoy is seen joining Starfleet after being a Doctor. However, this appears to have been a last ditch desperate move on his part, and thus may not be the orthodox career pattern for a Starfleet medical officer.

If CMO is being bagsied, then I might play Solkar as a lower level officer (although the Medical department may get pretty crowded then).

Anything people need?

I came over from the GitP boards, where tcatt was trying to do a bit of recruiting. I'd love to fill the role of CMO with a Vulcan doctor named Solkar. I used him in a previous (-very- short lived game) and grew fond of the guy. If this is acceptable I shall post further details on him.
