(finishing with Zeran)

Krii smiled slightly and stood from the table

"Then tomorrow we shall rain hell fire apon them"

Krii bowed to Zeran and walked off into the darkness of the sleep quarters

(Pre assult)

Krii had woken early to prepare Vilify and make sure all his gear was packed and ready, spending a few hours of time in prayer and meditation he mounted Vilify when he heard the sturrings in the courtyard and the conversation when the badit captives and road out to the group

"I dont think there is a question about it Zeran, your bomb if nothing else gives us an edge though capturing some of these... bandits and putting their skills to use may be worth our while there is no point in risking our own necks in what could be a fruitless mission of virtue.

-Krii turned his gaze to the group-

We know there are atleast 7 of them still in the camp, we know they will not offer us any such choices, we will not be welcomed or given warning, we go to our potential end and any edge we can gather should be taken advantage of, after the ambush here I have no fears in the ableness of our group but I would be a fool to think that on our skill alone we will be victorious, they know we are comming, and will have taken this time to ready themselves just as we have. We will have to take care to not all into any ambushes ourselves and when we reach the camp remove the head of this serpent as soon as posssible if you want any chance of saving these people we will have to remove the thing they fear that drives them Kressel. So then lets end this now lets go in with a bang and show these bandits what true fear is let them see the face of those who will conquer these savage lands and bring about a new civilation, and let them bow before us."

(Happs)
Krii walked out with his head held high the cry of dismay from Happs like music to his ears, he tryed to refrain from smileing but knew that he was atleast sporting a smirk but why he didnt know he had just condemed a man to death he felt no remorse nore did he feel bad but all the same he still felt he shouldnt be feeling as happy as he was.

(Party?)
One, Two... Three... Seven, Krii had become used to drinking in the company of his adoptive family and the years he spent with them so it didnt faze him much enough that he was comfortable lostening up a bit so when Frodric asked for his cards for a game with the newly created workers his mouth turned up into a wide almost psychotic grin and he abliged, however during the game he did slip in and out of Gnomish and that ontop of his accent made him at point near impossible to understand but he atleast was having a good time suffice to say for anyone else. As the night wore on and everyone wore down Krii began to wander having replaced he cloak onto his person he stepped outside the gates into the fresh nights air and stared at the woods and surrounding area, thoughts and ideas filling his head long layed plans and fond memories of home and lives once held, he slouched down agend the wall of the fort and there he stayed for a time stareing off into the silent darkness whispering various prayers to his gods of worship.

(After party)

When the fort went quiet Krii silently entered back in seeing only Zeran sitting at the long table creating his bomb, he moved over siting across the table and stareing at his commrad before speaking.

" What makes them different"

He paused for a moment

"You seemed so driven to salvage these bandits here today and yet now you sit making a weapon which you say will cause massive damage and possible loss of life, what makes these others different that your will to risk killing them all and saving none, why are these are these three here special, heh maybe Im over looking it thinking to much my uncle always said I did... I want to see them burn Zeran... but I have to know... what makes them different"

Krii sat there watching Zeran work intently while waiting for his responce

Subject: the end of the rope

After the events of his ride Krii, leaving his cloak off and tieing his hair back into a short pony tail, had began to resemble more of a diplomat all be one that looked to be on the door of death, then the hooded sorcerer that had first been seen. He afixed his newly aquired dagger to the hidden wrist sheath under his shirt , it had been awhile to say the least since he had to exersize any sort of real dignity in his conversations and convey a tone of seriousness aside from talking to the group but this was different, this was playing judge and possibly and still somewhat hopefully in his mind executioner, though the majority of the jury atleast seem to favor life with hard labour over his intended virdict. Krii followed closely behind Zeran and Kyrie and stood back in the shadows till finally seeing Zerans outbust and the possiblity of Happs even remotely being set some sort of freedom he spoke up but still remained back in the shadows.

"If I may Zeran, It should be noted Happs that its unlikly you could tell us anything we dont already know for instance we know there are atleat 12 of you minus what we have here assumeing ofcourse your company took no losses or gains

We also know that YOUR base of operation is next to a river ford which suggests your camp is not so much influenced by its elevation but its proximity to the only way to cross the river a stratigic point more so then one for vantage

We know from your first visit that this Kressle is definatly your superior and that you hold some rank among your group however small it may be, and that your both subordinates to some lord with funny looking headgear. Though perhaps the only reason you rank above the rest is that your sleeping with your boss, which is possibly where you came to aquire that necklace its not likly you really would have earned such a trinket yourself.

So in the end Happs its not so much that you didnt have a chance to leave here alive, but that your own ignorance as a group and the cooporation of your little band of bandits that came to visit today that really its unlikly you could tell us anything worth your life making you... worthless to us, expendable... except ofcourse as an example, so it would be my suggestion to you that if there is anything in that tiny brain of yours that you think could save your life speak now or forever hold your peace and say your prayers cause by morning you'll be nothing but a wall hanging."

Subject: but but stabby stab death make

Perhaps it was the way he was rasied of the events that had befallen his family in his life time but Krii saw no reason that these bandits should have redemption as an options these were the people that would have been more then willing to take there lives, that stole and threatened innocent folk, it made him sick, no more then sick this was a deep hatred and if asked he would have more then admitted he would rather hang them all himself then even give them the slightest chance at freedom but he also knew that atleast most of the others didnt see things that way all they needed from them was information not liability. All said he did his best to hide these feelings and agreed to taking Miguel and talking to them and offereing them life in exchange for useful information.

In an attempt to calm his nerves and clear his head before then events to come Krii made his way over to the stables and gathered Vilify and for the first time in the days that the party had convined removed his cloak placing it in one of the carrying bags on Vilify and made his way to the gate of the fort.

" I will return shortly, Vilify doesnt like to be tied up for long and the ride will do him good"

Krii added muttering under his breath and perhaps me as well. Krii then proceeded to mouth and exit the fort without saying another word.

After the bandits had been attented to and locked up Krii walked over to Zeran and Kyrie respectivly and congradulating them on there efforts adding to Zeran that he would be expecting great things from his boom stick once it was repaired, he then made his way to Miguel and held out his hand

" Credit where credit is due, Im sorry I ever doubted ya. Ya had a good plan and it worked sorry I wasnt able to be of more use"

**************
(Tasty Loots)

Krii looked over the recovered goods from the bandits before speaking outload to the group

"I dont suppose you folks would be minding if I took this dagger and a set of this armour for later use would ya?"

**************
(Dealing with the captives)

Krii had since returned to his spot at the table and sat there in thought for a moment listening to what Oleg then Frodrick had to say before chiming in with his two bits

" I do agree punishment should be swift provided we first try to gain whatever information we can on our enemy from them, and I dont really care how we do it I will however say that we should be careful not to parade our actions though it may as a deterant, it may also insight a rage with the rest of this bandits lot ushering a counter strike one which we may be outnumbered or should we not be here leaving this wonderful couple without backup provided that the guard hasnt made its way here before we leave.

On that note I would suggest we wait for their arrival before our next move theres no reason to rush giving the time it will take to either interogate our new guests or find there hidout through searching the woods the others will already be alerted to the fact that this bunch hasnt retured and be on alert, they may even send another party after them, I suppose it depends on how they organize themselves reguardless rushing in is not a good idea we should take some time to interogate and plan as well as gather any supplies we may need and insure the security of this fort."

Krii looked at Miguel

"Your plan seem a tad risky especially should you fail to cast the spell you leave us wide open for a counter attack, are you sure you considered all the variables, not only that but it only gives us a small window in which to move quickly and tie them up not only that but upon waking they will still have their full strenghs which we still arnt fully aware of nore do we know the kinda tricks they have up their sleves. If you've considered all this and factored it in I'll more then willin to agree with the idea and set it in motion"

------------------------
Krii sat there for a moment dumbstruck by the dwarfs question then I twisted grin came over his face and his eyes seems to fill with life and he quickly gathered the cards and began to shuffle the deck again

" By all means Sir Redbrew, I'm always up for a good game of cards, and no no tricks but I warn ya I'm a touch competive myself"

-----------------
Krii got up and moved himself to be better placed across from Frodrick still shuffling the deck and about to deal when Zeran began to speak to him he took a momentary pause to consider the investment it was true he had come with a fair sum of money and he did see no reasonable expence in his near future, and he knew that giving the circumstances this rag tag group would need all the aid they could get.

"You assume correctly, I do have a bit of coin to spare"

Krii reached under his cloak and undid a jingling bag which he then tossed in the direction of Zeran

" There should be enough there give or take a couple gold or silver, but it should be enough for your project, put it to good use"

Krii sighed heavily placeing his deck down onto the table and replaceing his hood over his head, he looked from person to person in the present company as they spoke taking in there thoughts and ideas, stareing perhaps alittle too long at the black powder filled jar that lay across the table from him. He paused for a moment in the silence to make sure no one else was going to speak before clearing his throat to speak

"As unsuprised as the rest of ya probly are with the lack of information we were givin at the start of this little adventure it shouldntah come as a suprise that these lands would be riddled with vermin if this was gunna be easy the noble brood would have done it along time ago and started there bickerin over it"

He turned his almost glowing orange eyes to meet the gaze of Oleg and his wife before continueing

"Tell us more of our opposition, these men that come, there attitude, any equipment ya may have noticed, are they organized or do they quarel among themselves, heights, builds the best defence is to know your enemy that way we can better prepair our ambush speaking of which"

Krii then turned his gaze to the dwarf with a smile

" Sir Redbrew, I think I'll take you up of the offer of a bit of extra protection while I use my "Hocus Pocus" spells as you so kindly call them"

(* note read in scottishesk accent)
The three day trip had been long and the site of the outpost a welcome sight as he and his new found companions approached, Krii didnt really know what to make of the rag tag group of people that now made his aquantianceship but he held no ire or ill to any of them yet and in each there own way respected them.

When the company entered the outpost and people were beginning to settle the coachman came to collect Vilify from Krii still not having dismounted

" That won be nesessary sir I can andle my own horse thank ya kindly for the offer"

He continued to ride Vilify to the stable followed by his new dwarven companion and then the coachman himself with his own horses. Krii dismounted and tied up Vilify

"There's a good boy, now take care and don't ya be causeing trouble"

He looked the horse sharply in the eye and poked its noise to which it neighed and shook its head looking down. Krii unpacked his things from the packs on Vilify, grabing his deck of cards and moving over to the table, he moved his hood off his head, brushed his white hair from his eyes which gleamed in the light in an amost unnaturel fashion and shuffling them, doing various tricks with them before laying them out and starting a game listening closely to the conversations that took place around him

" Aye ya do seem ta have an ere of disconcern about ya ma'am what creatures of these wilds troubles you and your husband"

As Junn listened to Achuak Aria came over to his side and asked if he would let her look at his leg Junn turned to look at her his expression one of annoyance

(still in dragonic)

"My leg is fine, Im fine, I dont need your help child"

Junn stared at her, her expression blank and slightly confused then he realized his mistake and cleared his throat again

[just after supper]

Junn had made his way back down to fetch his food from within the bunkhouse but instead of returning up had decided to eat with the others, the silence and gloom of the fort was deadly and you could cut the tensions of the air with a knife Junn had spent the last little while conversing with the other traverlers whom found themselves at Olegs that night and having already had a couple of drinks with them an idea struck him and he rose to his feet with a childlike vigor

"I PROPOSE A TOAST TO OLD FRIENDS AND NEW -motions to the travelers he was speaking with- TO OUR VICTORY THOUGH SMALL A STEPING STONE ON THE PATH TO GREATER GLORY TONIGHT SHOULD BE ONE OF CELEBRATION THOUGH ONE OF US LEAVES COME THE MORNING LET US NOT SEND OUT FRIEND AWAY WITH A MEMORY OF GLOOM LET OF DRINK AND REJOICE IN THE TIME WE HAVE HAD AND TO FURTURE MEETINGS"

Junn hearing Ack screaming about the bounty turned and smirked and set the bowl of food down on a nearby table and moved over to ack

-speaking in dragonic-

"I warned you of this at the camp this party paves the way for such men to come in and there is no set answer to once we do finish our quest that we can stop them as I told you we're all monsters but I will make you a promise should we succeed with your help and I am in a position to I will do everything within my appointed power to assure the safty of your people, we elves have an affinity with nature and it would pain me to see harm come to an indigionous race such as yourself"

Junn held out his hand to the little kobold and smiled warmly

[Junn and Ortlieb and Syl]

After speaking with Ack and fetching his dinner Junn went to return to his nest but paused at the door hearing the voices inside and listened for a moment, when Ortlieb walked out of the bunk house as they were about to pass Junn held out his hand to stop him

" You and I dont see eye to eye but even as such I would have been a fool not to see how useful you were to this group.... I wish you luck in your travels and may fairer winds catch your sails"

Junn walked past Ortlieb and into the bunk house to see Syl

-again in dragonic-

"Hes right you know you should eat alittle meat on your bones will keep you from freezing in the winter months here"

Junn set his bowl down on a table for her

"... Im sorry for the events at the camp... sometimes my emotions get the best of me hate me if you will I've become accustom to such things... but please eat keep your strenth up. It wont be long before we face danger again... goodnight "

Junn took his leave and returned to his nest for further thought and meditation when he reached his roost he turned from the ladder and faced the open world a smirk on his face

-speaking in Alko to himself-

"I suppose we should introduce ourselves I dont think hes going to leave, just remember to nice"

Junn decended from his rooftop pirch and made his way over to the table to get some food and make his introductions. He paused for a moment before approaching the group took a deep breath and sighed put on as slight smile and walked over to the newcommer

" We havnt been introduced "

Junn bowed slightly

" I am Junn Vallo at your service"

He rose to standing

" I would stay and chat but I have made myself somewhat of a... pariah for the moment should you wish to converse you may find me in my nest atop the building there"

Junn hadnt spoken to anyone in the party since they had returned from the bandit camp a few angry glares here and there but silence none the less he ws in no way pleased by the events that had transpired and didnt really wish to deal with any of the group any longer his devotion to completeing the task they had set out to do now his only motivation to stay with the group but ties were shakey at best and the unforgiving wilderness seemed like a much more appealing place then anywhere with this rag tag bunch of misfits.

Junn had spent most of his time since the return meditation or sparing with some of the nearby trees currently he had managed to secure a ladder and climb atop one of the buildings in the post and lay stareing at the sky upon hearing the unfamiliar voice he peaked over the side of the roof to see the stranger standing there and the Syl approach him. Junn rolled over back onto his back and lay there listening to the conversation that transpired

(I'm making the bold assumption that there is indeed something he could climb ontop of and lay on I know theres a ladder from one of the first posts and since hes fairly light and not wearing anymore then his clothes for the moment that it could support his weight if this not be the case let me know and I'll change it kay thanks`)
