Subject: The harbor
Alex took in the place observing all of the potions and the smells it was weird but in a way felt homey. When the girl popped out he was surprised she looked so young. He smiled and quietly laughed when she tripped over her oversized lab coat. He looked through the file she pointed out thinking about the key notes he should take away. Rift Raffers, docks, sewer lines, and bite marks on them that part was disturbing. Thinking it over for a min "I think tomorrow night we should stake out the docks and try and catch them in the act of holding the girls hostage. I don't think we should just blindly go into the sewers might run into bigger problems then we prepared for." Looking back at Felicity he said "thank you for the info and the opportunity."

Subject: Preparing
Thinking about how to conceal myself, I started to head in the direction of a mask shop I knew about. Realizing Harcourt was going in the same direction I decided to walk beside him upon arriving. I found a trycorn hat and a bandanna for now, paying I leave for my house to prepare for tonight grabbing my weapons and armor before I head out.

Very interesting I thought to myself, she left us with more questions then she answered. Alls we have is an address and her word to go here and gather info. Well what choice do we have, we have already gone this deep into the rabbits hole may as well keep going.
I say to the group "we should be cautious and follow her advice starting now to conceal our identity. During the day go about life normally but when we meet next we need to be concealed." I pause to hear the rest of the groups thoughts on this.

My cider arrives I take a big swig of it feeling refreshed now, since I didn't even get a chance to sit down at home. Subject: Luck of Shinara
Alex slowly walked home at the end of a long day of training at the mage gym. Feeling the soreness from the sparring matches, they say use 10% of your power though it feels more like 70%. He walked inside hung his robe and noticed an envelope on his bed quickly he looked around his small apartment but found everything in its rightful place. Carefully he picked up the envelope unsure what to make of it. He opened it expecting some sort of trap but nope it was just a letter guess people cant just use a mailbox. Reading the letter his reaction changed realizing this would be a good mission to put all he has learned to the real test. Grabbing his robe he went back out the door hoping he wouldn't be late.
He entered the bar packed as always he didn't like being on the port side of town but what do you do. He noticed one table with only 1 man sitting at it with a dog curled at his feet, perhaps this was the man who so stealthily walked into his apartment. he made his way through the crowd to the table, pulled out a chair and sat next to him "So are you this Mr. Brown?

Ok so this will be a DandD 3.5 based game with rules as guidelines so long as you don't abuse them. Anything from 3.5 you can use starting at lvl 4 with 500gp to buy what you need. This will be a mainly underground campaign so keep that in mind. Also it will be a once a week with posting because of jobs and things.
A very rich looking man walks into the smiling cat tavern and stands on a table in the right corner of the room. He says with pain in his voice "I have a quest for any brave soul here to come with me back to my town for we are being ravaged my strange and horrible creatures. I'm willing to pay very handsomely to anyone who can stop this madness and save my daughter." He sits down and calls a bar maid to bring him a pint and looks down into his glass.
This is where you come in and walk over and sit at his table and tell him you will gladly take on his quest.

Subject: I'm bad at this
Ok spells I know are in the complete arcane on page 91. Like shield wolf said I know those spells form creation but I will go ahead and write the 0lvl and 1lvl spells for now since those are the ones I can cast. Also I do not need to prepare a spell like a wizard or cleric because of my limited focus.
0lvl: cast 6 a day
acid splash, disrupt undead, light, and ray of frost
1lvl: cast 5+1 a day due to my cha score
accuracy, burning hands, chill touch, fist of stone, hail of stone, magic missile, orb of acid lesser, orb of cold lesser, orb of electricity lesser, orb of fire lesser, orb of sound lesser, shocking grasp, and true strike
Due to the Special ability of my class every 3 levels called advanced learning I learn a new spell from the evo school in the wizard list and I chose ray of fire.
When I can cast lvl 2 spells I will post those up here and so on and so forth.

With the advanced learning feat I get every 3 levels I chose RAY OF FIRE as the spell I learned from evo school. Also EQUIPMENT I forgot rope silk and I have 248gp 8sp 7cp left over
