Piq never one for sustained tuber talk faded back into the background.  While he couldn't help but feel a bit sorry for Mrs. Molekin he wondered to himself if they had really been taken, just gotten lost or on purpose wandered away having heard enough tuber talk to last a lifetime.  That's what Piq would have done.  In any case Piqs mind began to wander dreaming of all the exciting things he might see and that might just be laying around forgotten.  Well Mrs Molekin probably had a use for most of her things but perhaps the boys had left some clues that a little 'searching' might turn up.  Oh and the Baron probably had all kinds of things just laying around.  The rich did tend to 'lose' track of things all the time.  Piq wondered where the group would head to next.  He hoped it wouldn't take them too long to decide.  There wasn't anything interesting left to do here if you weren't interested in vegetables.

Subject: Goblins, 'eh.

Piq, being little interested in squash, lingers longer around the patrons speaking of goblins.  Once the conversations turn away from goblins, and perhaps back to squash, pumpkins, or other cucurbita, Piq moves back to the halfling table.  There he draws attention to himself and proclaims, to the other halflings, "whats up with the goblins?"

Subject: Blend In

Piq enters the Inn and makes himself as inconspicuous as possible.  Being only about 4 feet tall and looking pretty much like every other halfling in the world has a least that advantage. After fading into the background Piq makes his way over to his fellow halflings, not for the nostalgia of family ties, but more just to become one more face in the crowd.  While with his fellow halflings Piq tries to pickup on any interesting information they are willing to share.  Periodically though Piq wanders away from his brethren to eavesdrop on other conversations but if noticed just acts like he was passing on his way back to his halfling ‘friends’.  During his wanderings he’s always on a subconscious lookout for ‘unique’ items that might just be laying around.  If people are silly enough just to leave items like that out in the open they must really not want them.  Not that Piq is some common thief picking up coins, he’s just a collector of sorts.
