Well I don't think the name of the town has anything to do with the music. I could be grim and say that I live in a log cabin in the bitter mountains of the Northeast.

So I know I've not been very active on the site lately, due to school, work, and whatnot, but I do think that many of my friends, and any of you that like Death Metal would be interested in seeing what I've been up to all this time! I would really appreciate listens from those of you into this kind of music, and your opinions.

And if you find yourself becoming a fan of us-we do have EP's and shirts for sale .

Subject: Oh

I'm not really depressed. But being around so much depression every day has been having quite the effect on me. Now something I don't understand is this. Ever since my GF's father got diagnosed with cancer, he's seriously become a major....to put it nicely, jerk. To everyone.

I always thought that when someone finds out something like this, they sort of start looking for silver linings....Guess I was wrong. He was never a friendly person but he's become downright nasty. Kind of makes it hard for me to feel sorry at all for him....The reason this is so hard for me is being there for Joanne (gf).

Ugh. She has been feeling better lately. He's going through treatment. Hopefully things work out, for her sake.

So I disappeared suddenly...and I feel I should let everyone know why. Almerin already knows half the story, but only half.

Like the day I put up my last update (killing off Grugg), my GF of a very long time calls me crying. Her father has colon cancer and it spread to his liver. So I had to drop what I was doing and go see her...and I've stayed with her for a long time, because she can't sleep at night and is in a deep depression.

Then....It only gets worse.

On January 31st we both find out that a mutual, very close friend to both my GF and I is in the hospital, dying of cancer as well. By dying I mean she died that day. Talk about a horrible series of events...It's astonishing because we never knew she was sick...She never acted sick...she was always happy...it's weird. She had broken up with her BF for no reason 3 weeks before...So..I guess she knew and somehow kept it a secret.

Anyways, I WILL be back..I'm about ready to now anyways...I need to get my mind off things....I've been around depressed people for way too long.

If I hear about Cancer one more time this year I'm going to snap.

Subject: An Update

I apologize for my sudden disappearance. The day after Grugg's Demise, I found out my Girlfriends father has intestinal cancer and that it has spread to his liver. His outlook doesn't look good and while I'm cold and callous and not really effected, my girlfriend is devastated...So I've been staying with her while she copes.

I am now back home. Ah precious, precious computer!

I'm horribly sorry for the delay. I know I killed a guy off for not posting and then i went and didn't update on time....
That's just to say that once and a while posting late is fine. More so posting late is fine if its because of real life issues. THose take precedence over the game. But simply not posting, saying your gonna and then not, over and over. A good way to die a horrible death.

Not that you aren't all going to die horrible deaths anyways...

Faxtion Healthcare Facility
State Street, Herkimer,
Upstate New York

He was right. This wasn’t a game. There wasn’t a television between himself and the now unmoving corpse that moments ago had been trying to chew on the bikers face. He had just emptied a pistol into real flesh and bone, and that was definitely real blood pooling around the body from a very real, cavern on the side of its head. When the reality struck, it was too much for him to handle. Roger fell to his knees, and an eruption of bile splattered the pavement to mingle with the blood. His stomach had rebelled, and he couldn’t restrain it. Again and again he wretched. Infact. He was in mid-wretch when it happened.

How they had died, or what exactly had happened was a mystery. It seemed probable, given the reports in the area, that one of them had been bitten by an infected animal of some sort, saw the news, and had decided, or been convinced to take a trip to the hospital. Why neither of them had gotten out of the car will never be answered. Most likely the man, probably her husband, had been the injured one. His wife had driven, and somewhere along the line he had died. But how had she parked in the hospital lot and not gotten out of the vehicle? Had he ‘animated’ when she parked? While she was still buckled, the entire lower half of her body was a red, stringy mess. If you took the time to look, you would have noticed that the flesh had been ripped away from her ribs down, right to her spine. Her husband, sitting in the passenger seat was smeared from head to toe with the evidence of his crime. That was really the only logical explanation. Nomatter the theory, the fact was two corpses sat in the PT cruiser that Jack was leaning on while he gasped for breath. Four very dead eyes were staring at him, from behind tinted windows. Tinted windows that had been cracked from the bikes impact, and were now very brittle.

The shattering glass almost went unnoticed for a moment by Roger, who was projectile vomiting into the sea of blood, but the shrill screams of the biker pounded into his ears so sharply that it was torture. A torture forever etched into his memory.

The glass had exploded around him, and before Jack could even respond, cold, bloody hands and grabbed his shoulders and pulled him backwards into the window of the cruiser. His arms shot up and grabbed at the frame of the window, and his legs flailed wildly, unable to touch the ground in his awkward, backbreaking state. Glass cut into his hands but he wouldn’t let go. Then he felt the teeth on his skin. Cold, sticky teeth. They came down on his neck and pinched at first, but very quickly passed that threshold. They clamped onto that artery, and pulled, and as Jack screamed, he felt his flesh tear away. A hot, wet spray sprung from his neck, and into the creatures mouth. It chomped down again on the flesh it had ripped, tearing it from his neck. Jack let go of the window-frame and fell completely into the embrace of the man in the vehicle. Hands went from his shoulders to his stomach. They grabbed at his clothes and pulled him in, and he could feel another pair of hands brushing over his face.

Only his legs were dangling from the vehicle now. It had all happened so fast. Roger was pushing himself to his feet, unsure what to do but wanting to help, no doubt. It didn’t matter. The hands on Jacks stomach tore through his clothes, and bloody fingers wormed into his flesh. He flailed his arms, throwing elbows, then, as fingers actually punctured his torso, they grabbled with those hands, trying to pry them away. He could do nothing but flail his head back and forth as the mans jaws chomped on his neck again, and ripped away more flesh. Blood was cascading down his chest and back.

Then the hands that fondled his face suddenly grabbed his hair and yanked back. His throat was now fully exposed to the chomping man, and he was looking, face to face at the driver of the car. A middle aged woman with long brown hair and an upper body that was only attacked to her hips by spine and shreds of clothe. He screamed, and her mouth opened. Blood flowed from it. Obviously. She had coughed up a lot of blood while her husband was devouring her stomach. Jack screamed louder, and her jaws came down to meet his in the last kiss he would ever have…

Roger could hear the screams muffle. He could hear the wet crunch as she chewed through the mans tongue and lower jaw. He could also hear the wet ripping sound of a torso being opened manually…

We do not just "Sit around", first of all! We fight all day, feast all night. (With feasting comes all sort of other splendid activities ) Yes in preparation of Ragnarok.

But all prophecies can fail. There is Weard, and there are the actions that a man, and a god perform in the face of Weard.

I think I have the best heaven...since you know...we feast and drink all night, have celestial wenches serving us in any multitude of ways, and we spend all day battling it out....this this all day every day. Valhalla...*sigh*...Heaven.

Rude or not, I agree with RK. The Mayan's prediction is no more noteworthy than the message my alphabet cereal gave me this morning. For the record. It said KIVL...Although the K was sideways and the L was upside down. But I think it's trying to tell me to KILL.

Nomatter. Not only does any prediction the Mayans made have very little pull..concidering their failure to forsee that THEIR world as they knew it was to end waaaaay before 2012, but I don't recall ever finding any actual predictions by them.

Nostradamous likewise, has made many, many vague "predictions" that can be taken any way.

This whole 2012 nonsense is just that. Nonsense.

That being said...I hope it's a zombie apocalypse. That or Ragnarok.

Yep you're correct. There are country stores and whatnot in small towns that surround herkimer, as well as stores within Herkimer itself where you can get food and ammo.

The zombies coming at you are coming from the Walmart Entrance. Your car is facing the parkinglot exit so you can easily just drive away from them...unless something gets in the way. For future referance-running over zombis...since Im assuming Bryson has never run a person over before...he does not know what kind of impact it will have on his car. Is it as to run over someone as the movies make it look? Try and find out! ;D

There aren't really any places like that in the near area surrounding Herkimer. There are some little mom and pop shops in surrounding, tiny towns that might have some goods, and there are also some hunting stores that you can get some ammo from. They dot the landscape in any direction you go really....This is a hunting area.

You have already completed objective number 1. That being-discover what has the town in an uproar. The next objective is simply to get out of town safely.

Then I put us in scenario 2...which is much more fun.

This kinda goes for everyone....Except Almerin...who has his own agenda.

Vorrioch and Bob, when you guys head out, (Assuming Tiann doesn't choke when getting his car out), specify what sort of destination your going to look for. For example do you want to try and get ammo or weapons? If that's the case, Herb Philipsons is right down the street. Do you want to leave town? If so do you want to take the highway towards the nearest city, or head into the wilderness.

Bahahaha...Indeed he does.

As for Ammo-and this goes for everyone. Since it does make a difference, specify how many shots your going to take before resorting to something else. For example if you have a zombie coming after you, and your in the end of a hallway with a door to your right. You can say (Im going to take 2 shots at its head and if it doesn't drop, im going to duck into the room) Of course if i roll and you get it on your first shot, ill let you know!

I didn't point out every shot because I was using Tiann's point of view, but you were shooting him all the while that he was coming after Tiann. I thought I mentioned that. It wasn't for dramatic purposes, I figured it would be natural to take several shots in an attempt to stop it. If you think this is out of character, i can give you back the ammo .

I dunno about you guys, but I'm ready to step this game up a notch . I think you will find the excitement is beginning to pick up!

I updated for everyone.

Grugg and Duncan, Obviously I require reactions as to what just happened, and you guys will likely want to converse a bit, and decide what it is you want to do now! Once I know what you want to do I can post for you again.

I will post again next monday, so if your at a loss, remember you can always discuss plans right here.
