Pathfinder anyone?

So I've been playing a bit of Pathfinder recently with friends and after getting a hang of the rules finally started my own game with them. I find that Pathfinder is a lot more fun then 4e and I'm thinking of running a game here at the Inn. I'll take the average group size of 3-5 and I'd prefer to stick to the core rulebook for character creation. The game will take place in a basic fantasy world I've made. If you have any questions you can either post or message me. Hope we have fun!

Ok

Found the Pathfinder Core Rules book.

Let me know what you have in mind for characters and setting and I will let you know if I am in.

Thanks!

Basics

The game shall be a basic fantasy, the heroes come together and work their way through various challenges to defeat the evil forces, somewhat cliché I know, but I'm throwing in my own things as well. As for characters everyone starts at lvl.1 and if you go through the book it gives you starting gold based on class for equipment and such. And depending on your race/class you must simply come up with a backstory. If I get enough interest I'll find a way to get the map up here as well as basic history of Antora.

I would like to play. Although unfortunately I would need some help making a character.

Pro Bono Noob

On behalf of Zeakol (whom you may see lurking here or there) I throw his name into the ring. He's having issues making posts at the moment, so he asked me to show his interest in this game.

Also, for tips, you've done a pretty good job demonstrating what kind of game you're going to be running. What system will you use to generate ability scores (point buy, rolling, etc.). I see 'Core Only' and I imagine that means staying away from things like Archetypes. All pretty clear there.

Also, about how many posts per week are you looking to set the minimum? (Average is about 1 in my experience, though you may wish to do things differently).

That's about as many questions as I can think of asking for now. No doubt your players will have some more queries for you.

Once again, when Zeakol next has the power to post, he should be popping in here to say hi.

SHE CANOOT HOLD CAPAN!

YES! Alright its working! As my good friend Sibelious on my behalf said. I am interested in this. I can fill out any roll you might need, have the tools at my disposal to make a character to any limitations you may impose, and a general friendly attitude ((My character might be different depending on what my noggin' cooks up.))

More answers!

Attributes will be determined by point buy, high fantasy = 20 points, and at least one post a week would be nice, any more would be nice if you can spare the time, and I can help with character creation though if you follow the core book chapter by chapter it lays out all the steps, albeit some things are vague. So if you come across trouble with either defense or what classes should use what attributes I'm right here.

Confirmation?

Alrighty, will you be sending out conformation messages to those you have accepted into your campaign? Along with the link to the Q/A and/or Campaign itself?

Decisions

I was hoping for a more advanced adventure than lvl 1; but I will look over the character options and information and let you know soon.

Leaning towards a Paladin; if I do, what pantheon of deities would be available?

Thanks!

Deities

If you're looking for those you have to check the Clerics page as they're all mentioned there. Don't worry about it starting off at lvl.1 as I believe I'll be using the fast levelling system and maybe shift into medium levelling after a bit. Just to get your characters up and on their feet, ready to explore the big , bad world

Ok

If you will have me, then I will give it a try.

I would like to play a Paladin of Iomedae, Goddess of Valor, Rulership, Justice and Honor.

I will start on my character generation; is there a character sheet/outline you would like us to use?

Thanks!

Characters

I'll gladly take you aboard, and it seems we have our group of 3 as well. I'm thinking of waiting until tomorrow as there may be more interest in this game. And for character sheet just use an outline similar to the one in the back of the core book.

Character sheets

I found some online character sheets that you can fill in, some even fill in the adjustments for you.

Here is the site:

Pathfinder Character sheets
Here is one that you can fill in and it fills in the adjustments:

Mod Character sheet
Enjoy!
