So far I have not recieved thsi for anyone. If you need help, let me know.

Awesome! So, from me, you just need the character history.

Character

Hey guys. I’m still in this. Just been swamped. I have my character all sorted out. I’ll be aiming to finish this up for you this weekend. May need some help with the format in the end. But I’ll have the back story and basics all hammered in.

deadline this

Okay, we are rapidly approach the two month mark since I posted this and I only have one character in. I understand RL but if we are going to do this, we need to move forward.

So I want all characters in with backgrounds by October 25th. If you need assistance please let me know. If I do not have characters in by then, I will close this thread and move on to other projects.

PDF's or Word or google docs can be emailed to me rbriant at gmail

Thanks

Spells known: Beast Sense and Speak with Animals [as rituals]

Description: Niknash is sinewy and agile, standing over six feet high, and weighing more than most mortal men. Her frame resembles that of a twisted, knotted tree, pocked by war wounds, ritual carvings, and thick, clotted muscle. Grey skin, bronze colored eyes, and thick black hair maintained in long dreads provide a striking contrast that is the most redeeming quality of what one might call beauty. Her strict demeanour and cutthroat candour would put to rest any thoughts of intimate inflection beyond martial companionship.

History: In the land of Skaern, there had been a delicate balance of power between tribes. Elves inherited the forests, Gnolls the grasslands, Dwarves the mountains, and the Orcs lorded over the steppes, and the hills. The coming of man, a warlike race with cunning intellect, and ambition destroyed the delicate balance.

They settled the coast and displaced the Lizardkin, established treaties with the Elves, learning magic, and archery. They began to trade with the stoic Dwarves, learned how to refine their arms. By the time the tribes of the Orcs and Gnolls took notice, The Calamity was already upon them. In a striking display of might the armies of Man set out across the plains and wiped the Gnolls off the face of Skaern. It was genocide. The Orcs would not be cowed so easily. The tribes formed a war council to oppose the advancement of Man. Through a combination of key defensive postures and guerrila raids during the darkness of night, they were able to depose the first armies of man through attrition. This was a temporary victory, and it was not earned through might as was the Orcish preference.

Generations followed in an uncomfortable climate of war and concessions. Orcs had advantage in rearing children, and would often use the daughters of man captured in village raids as brood mares to fuel population blooms. One such mongrel became a key hero in the war against the invaders. His name was Bogru. His viciousness, might, and cunning became legendary. He united the tribes of the orcs under one banner, and they erected a monument to their unity and strength, known forevermore as The Doomstone. An impenetrable fortress that overlooked the coastal kingdom of Man, a monument to their perserverance. A grim warning to their foe.

Man made a murderous pact with Elvish assassins who were successful in their plot to kill Lord Bogru. However, even in death the Half-Orc mongrel would return to the battlefield as a revenant to lead his forces to victory against the ever evolving armies of Man. From his loins came Niknash, a warrior every bit as tenacious as her father. A master of the polearm, her rage is boundless, as she charges into the fray at the lead of her forces. Her most notable title is "The Breaker of Lines". She is truly the spear that breaks through the shield walls of her foe, widening the gap for her soldiers to pierce into the heart of enemy forces and reek brutal havoc.

Her last memories had her pit in a dire battle against the first legions of Dwarven men to join into the fray as allies of Man. The dwarves and their mithral smithing and golems overcame her legion in a pitched battle.

Description: Nearly 7 feet tall, Diva towers over the humans and most other creatures who work alongside her within Helm’s Temple. Her scales are bronze and strong, though marred and seemingly disheveled in places, indicating wounds from past battles. She strikes an impressive figure, strong and stoic, ready to heal a battalion or rain lightning and thunder down on her foes at a moment’s notice.

History: Diva was brought to the steps of Helm’s temple as a child, the first day of a massive storm that lasted for weeks. Her parents knew they would likely never return from the battle that lay ahead of them, and so left their child in the protection of the protector god himself. Diva learned of their demise on the last day of the storm, and raged, as though challenging the storm itself. While the priests and priestesses felt Diva’s loss, they found this display more impressive than anything else. She clearly held a great power within her, and began her training immediately.

Though strong in both body and command of the storm, Diva’s desires and greatest assets formed more in line with healing the battle wounded, slinging spells that would give her allies advantages over their foes, and bringing back to life their fallen soldiers, that they may then return home to their families.

She became a true force of nature. The armies she marched with could endure any battle, and enemies came to fear the troops who approached them beneath ominous black clouds streaked with lightning and rolling with deafening thunder. They came to be known as the Tempest Legions of Diva,.

The only battle they ever lost was the last one Diva would remember. As rain and light fell down across the battlefield, Diva was struck a finishing blow by a ballista bolt. Overkill, for one dragonborn, however her enemies no longer thought of her as just one dragonborn. She was an entity, an otherworldly being. And now, finally, she was dead.

Alacrity,

If you mean as far as game mechanics go for the Afflicted Kender, I just used the Halfling [Lightfoot] mechanics from the 5E PHB. If you mean the roleplaying information, I used the Dragonlance Campaign Setting and Age of Mortals books from the 3E edition.

Peace,

Ayrn
