Subject: Not exactly...

I am just saying to keep our noses & mouth covered so we don't get exposed to anything else in the air. There is fog mixed with smoke it says. Just a safety precaution!

the wagons didn't faire so well. I suggest we keep our mouths and noses covered and obviously our eyes peeled for any danger/movement as we approach the wagon.

I am fine with another joining the fun.

Welcome back Hammer.

Looks like we missed our ride. If we really want to let the villagers of Oaks Heart know of the possible impending invasion, Trillian or myself could use the red potion to summon Finneous. It's just a thought.

...the Halfling run and dodge the trees vines as he gathers the satchel. Now that she has recovered she is ready for action.

T'Sal will wait and see if Rat gets away from the tree unscathed. If he gets caught in a vine she will use her Magic Missile spell to engage the tree.

T'Sal's dizziness fades and she regains her focus. As she turns back to look at the tree she sees Rat going for the satchel. The tree has long vines that have nooses at the ends and it has a large mouth with wicked teeth that it used to eat the orc that ran up it's trunk. Her eyes get wide and she stands up ready to cast her Magic Missile spell.

She yells at Trillian, "shoot at the tree Rat is in danger!"

She yells at all the others, "cover your noses and mouths with some sort of fabric there is something in this mist!"

I am going on what the DM has told me on T'Sals condition. Because she is out of it I can't tell you what is affecting her until she gets her wits about her or the DM says it's fine to say.

Be careful as you run towards the tree things aren't always whet they seem.

She has done all she can at the moment. I think we need to get away from the tree and regroup a bit. Maybe I will be able to explain more if I regain my bearrings when we gain distance.

We need someone with some speed and/or agility to run and get the satchel that fell.

Maybe Rat?

Subject: Closer to the tree

As the group got closer to the tree the smell got stronger for T'Sal and an instant later she felt like she was going to be sick. Her head is spinning and her vision blurs in waves and she falls down.

Between the waves of blurriness she clutches her staff and attempts to crawl back down away from the tree. She hopes that her party members have seen her fall and that they will come to her aide. She manages to yell 2 words in elvish, "Away" and "Tree" and then the dizziness takes over her head!

Calling back the dogs and surrounding the tree could be a good thing to attempt.

...down to where the dogs had run was a treacherous one for T'Sal. She was glad to have had her staff, it helped stop her from falling more then once.

As the group made way towards the large tree and the dogs were in sight the foul smell made T'Sal put her scarf over her nose. Luckily it had a nice floral smell that helped mask the outside air.

T'Sal made sure that her silver dagger was with in easy reach and that her spell was ready to be cast, if necessary, as the group climbed the hill towards the tree and barking dogs.

Must sense something and it would be a shame to lose them so early on I think we should try to keep up with them if we can.

T'Sal had been awake before the sun lit up the eastern horizon. She was very excited about the adventure and wanted to make sure she had her chosen spell memorized.

She chose a nice dark grey robe with a dark green hem with a matching belt and put her knee high grey boots on and gathered up her backpack and spell book along with her components and staff and went down to where everyone was gathering.

She was amazed by the hospitality of the townsfolk and was shocked when they gave her 2 vials and the silver dagger. She placed the vials in an easily accessible compartment of her back pack and attached the dagger to her belt.

She allowed Trillian and the halfling, Rat to help her to her seat where she waited for the wagons to start moving.

T'Sal has chosen Magic Missile for her spell.

Subject: T'Sal's Background

This is what I wrote as my background...

Lady T’Sal Ixix is the 3rd girl of 8 children of the noble house Ixix. As a young girl she loved to read and the arcane arts. Her Father set her up in the finest Drow schools of the arcane where she excelled and progressed rapidly. With her success came an ego and a know-it-all attitude. She left her last school and decided she would seek adventure even though she was young to do so for an elf.
Her light grey skin and jet black hair are accented by brilliant green eyes. She has an ample bosom and an hour glass shape that she will use to her full advantage. She carries a polished black staff and is always wearing silk robes that have green in them and grey knee high boots.
She is rather sassy and rebellious and hates when people tell her she has to do something a certain way.

Subject: Oaks Heart

T'Sal Ixix had just entered the town when all the commotion started. She thaught at first she had caused it, since most towns aren't too friendly towards Dark Elves, especially one as beautiful as she is. She then heard, "It's a logging team!" and she felt a bit of relief and resentment!

She had come to Oaks Heart to find another school of magic to attend or to hopefully find some adventure. It had been 3 months since she was at the last academy which she had breezed through and she was bored of being by herself.

She heard a man shout something about the "Bellyfull Inn" and she thought that would be a great place to find out about. It was rather easy to find since it seemed everyone was heading towards it.

As she approached the Inn she saw an elf that seemed familiar to her. She couldn't place a finger on it but it was a good sign, she hoped. The elf went over to a rather large dwarf and started to talk to him and then a halfling joined the duo. She clutched her cape tighter and walked over towards the three...

T'Sal will introduce herself to the elf in elvish and if he is friendly she will then intoduce herself to the others in common.
