I downloaded the archive file a while ago and that was what I was using but I can'y find a spell list under the mage section. There is a list of a few new spells but that's it.

I rolled up T'Sal's numbers last night. I need to write her background now. I filled out all that I could so far on the sheet but I don't know all the saving throws and such.

Just to clarify; you will be rolling up the numbers and and giving us equipment like Trip did SD?

I should have the background story for her done this week. I have been drawing it up in my mind the last few days so...

I downloaded the sheet from this site and will email it to you when complete.

Can you post your email again please? Thanks.

There is now the Oaks Heart thread in the same rules based D&D forum that Orlane is in. I am sure you can post any background story line there.

SD will you post a map like Trip did for Orlane?

I am 95% sure I will be playing T'Sal Ixix a sassy, female, Dark Elf Mage.

I think it would be cool if we all left our characters here in case Trip is able to continue at some point. Once we get a new thread up lets go and make a list of what people want to play for the new adventure.

It looks like 5 people are in. I am up for changing characters for a new adventure. I wouldn't mind even running 2 characters if needed.

I think we should head out to the Temple now if it's not to late in the day!

Maybe the Hermit knew about us because he controls all those people with the glazed over stares in town? Or he is like the Beastmaster and can talk to animals and see threw their eyes?

Stings walked up to the left flank of the party from his spot at the back and watched the Hermit and the surrounding area for any strange movements or hostilities.

When Stings saw the rodent on the old man, it automatically made him shiver! He had been around lots of rodents from his time on the streets when he was younger and he didn't like them then and he dislikes them even more now!

Stings will wait to see how the Hermit reacts. If he is hostile then Stings will use his throw 2 daggers at him and then draw his long sword. If something comes from the surrounding woods he will throw them at the closest target then draw his long sword.

The only other question I can think of is why he chooses to live amongst the trees and not in town.

I think people who have rodents as pets are a bit creepy. I am for fanning out in a semi circle type formation. I will cover the left flank with concealed daggers ready to be thrown at a moments notice.

Stings was a bit surprised by the boys response but he didn't want to push the boy as other patrons started to watch what was transpiring.

Allowing the boys answer to stand with out any more prying, Stings makes his way back to the table and sits down near Haiden. He picks up his cup of wine to block anyone in the room from reading his lips and whispers to Haiden and the rest of the group that is present, "The boy is basically just interested in adventurers. But something isn't right with him and a few others in here, they seem to have a strange look in their eyes!"

With that, Stings downs the rest of his wine and says, "When Valerus comes back I think we should move out."

I concur, lets go to the hermit. I too think that there is someone or something that is charming some of these folks.

I will bring up the rear as we leave the Inn.

Subject: The Boy..

While Valerus was talking with Severus the Inn became more active.

Stings watched as patrons came and left while lodging was being discussed. He noticed that a young boy was starring at the party and every time Stings spotted him doing so the boy quickly looked away!

This went on for a good 15 to 20 mins. Stings decided he would go and see why the party was of such an interest to the youth.

Stings stood up and the boy watched but Stings easily used the patrons and shadows to stealth his way over to where the boy was. Stings worked his way so the boy's back was between him and the party, he could see the boy straining to see where he had gone.

Stings walked up and put a hand on the boy's shoulder and said, "why are my friends such an interest to you?"

The boy froze and the blood seemed to drain from his face as he turned around and said...

Subject: Stings in the Inn

Stepping into the Inn, Stings absorbed the rooms layout and it's patrons.

When the Innkeep brought out the wine, Stings took it and sipped it at first but when he found it to be quality he gulped down a big swig.

As the Innkeep answered the questions Valerus asked, Stings listened and took mental notes. The one tidbit that really interested Stings was the strange man who lived amongst the elms. He would have to let the others know it might be a good idea to check the old man out.

Taking another gulp of his wine, Stings noticed a patron who was seated at small table get up an approach the group he came over and said...

"Pardon me gentlemen, may I have a moment of your time?"

I think at this level any time we can get any added protection it's a good thing. If I can absorb an extra 9 HP's of damage I go from 5 to 14 HP's.

I plan on doing herbalism since I also plan on becoming an assassin. But since I lack 1 point of str I need to wait.

1. Trip you didn't list Katai in group 1 but I assume he is there.
2. We are really lacking in the healing arts now with the cleric gone.

Group 2

I think we should check out the strange hermit guy then make our way over to the Temple.

I am in for sure. I must say I was expecting more of a dungeon crawl but I also thought this was an intro so I knew it would take some time getting going. I am looking forward to the battles and loot we shall get when we start killing beasties!

Maybe we should inquire about room prices and the specialties of the Inn? Why would weary travelers want to stay there over the other Inn? Maybe ask about any strange events in the past week or so?

By the way Stings wouldn't really talk to this person unless he was by himself and needed a room.
