Topic: Adventures of the Lute
Subject: Searching for secrets not found

Oswald slowly opens the door making his best efforts to remain silent. He looks back at aquascales "Maybe its best if you stand guard out here to make sure our research is uninterrupted, It may be our best chance at Finding Assals sword and about Tharex lair. If we happen to come across a book of bahamut or tiamat I will be sure to bring it for you."

He whispered to Moonbeam "See if you can find anything good in here all libraries have the best things hidden."

Oswald scoured through the the sections of books always maintained noise discipline, He found a book at a powerful mage known as Redstaff. He quickly searched through the book to find some very interesting things and moved onto the next where he found a book called "Hero of the Vale."
he smiled as he skimmed the pages.

He slowly and silently crept towards the door and motioned for moonbeam he knew there was something extra jucy but it was better not to press your luck.

"Thank you lady moonbeam your skills have proved invaluable today." He smiled and shifted his gaze to Aquascales

Oswald exitted the door and greeted the paladin "We have discovered much thank you for your vigilance in this situation." as he smiled.

Oswald had one more stop but this one was better alone, the others might not be so understanding especially Aquascales. Oswald was the type of cleric who wouldnt mindlessly hunt the undead, he knew that in death they could still be helpful and noone really wants to be alone and want to know that they helped the world or harmed it.
Oswald wasnt the type of person to waste such valuable knowledge, Death afterall was all part of the flow of time.

The three of them walked the road as Oswald was searching for the library. "Im glad we got this chance to spend a little bit of time together." Oswald walked along the road and when they got to the library he snickered a little. He went to open the door but it was locked.. He tried several times to open it getting rather frustrated. He looked around to see if anyone was around, then slowly shifted his gaze to moonbeam. "Soooo... this door seems to be quite the hinderance this might be a good chance to...teach.. lockpicking." Oswald said with a sly smile as he looked at Aquascales behind her.

Oswald looked around the town he had never been before. The chatty guards up front were an amusing start to his experience in the city, he scanned all around looking for points of interest. "hey tralen, were there any powerful people or wars here recently?... I get a off feeling from this place."

Oswald loved history being a cleric of Alvareon he loved the past and future. He was kind of tired from the walk there being short and heavily armored for being of such low endurance. He faced the rest of the group "I guess we should just top up on supplies and get ready for tomorrow, Will you all be going to the inn and get supplies in the morning?"

(OOC oswald will head to the library and try to find out what he can about the history of the town.)

Light crept through the window in the lute, the fire had died out and the day had begun. Oswald set in a chair in the tavern never having got a room for the night, he just drifted off to sleep sometime that night.

He began to meditate where he set thinking opun what the day would hold for him and what he would need for the day. After a few minutes of meditation he arose then bought a cup of tea sipped it down and went about his business. He stepped out then inn and squinted, the sun was brighter then he thought and he didnt get as much sleep he needed. He used his staff as a walking stick as always did. He didnt seem to have any wounds and he wasnt very old. Spotting the rest of his troop and his now sober half orc companion he decided he should get meet up with them. Everyone was there already Oswald being the last to get there.

"Greetings Gentlemen and lady Lightfinger, what is our course of action."

Oswald took satisfaction in the frown the lady wore. He simply pushed buttons because they were there to be pushed, just to see the reactions people gave.

"whats yours your name sir?" he smiled and gave a very simple answer "my name is Oswald, and I heal anything."

The little man found it took satisfaction in what he did Oswald didnt really act according to most priest or holy men. He found little pleasure in churches or monastaries but rather people. He was short when he spoke for he always valued listening as a much higher trait.

"I could go for a pastry right about now..." he flipped a coin to the kobold "no such thing as a free meal ya know." looking back at the lady and smiling.

"As for supplies, rest assured I DO heal everything hahaha." Oswald looked around at the assorted crew of orcs, humans, kobolds and one very beautiful petite lady.
He felt more at home then he had in a long while.

"However you never finishing saying why you wish to come...Beamy."

Oswald saw the group and the enterance of the short lady.
"The short ones always have the stickiest fingers." He looked over at the kobold "ok not always." then looked at himself only standing less the five feet tall and the "borrowed" books of his "but most the time."

This would be an excellent adventure for Oswald anything that involved killing was great for oswald given his talents, and this would be a good chance to try out his new talents.

Oswald took everything in and gathered his thoughts something seemed odd The Kobold had is righteous reasons.
The warrior had his, The bard was passed out but most likely just wanted some new stories. But the small ones motives were unclear and this is something that would just not do for Oswald.

"So beamy, what do you have to gain from this quest?"

Oswald looked at the men as they explained there business.
He didnt put much thought into what they were saying because he was focused on the paladin. he knew how paladins acted though he had never met a paladin of bahamut they all generally followed the same guidlines. A smile came across Oswalds face because he knew this would be alot of fun. Oswald focused and listened to what the tall man said "Blah blah athera blah blah sword." Oswald never was much for paying attention to the details but he always caught the main theme of what people said. After they finished Oswald responded simply "When do we leave."

As Oswald set before the fire stroking his short beard he reached to his side and grasped a rather weathered old tome that was next to two more, one looking rather new and the other fairly old. He skimmed through the book rather quickly stopping briefly on certain parts and leaning over and squinting at others. Oswald took great pleasure in collecting other clerics tomes that had been passed down. He was always looking for something he didnt know or a new take on something he did. During his search he took note of a man and a kobold talking of adventure. Perfect chance to try out a few new things he thought to himself and with a grin he closed his book and went over to meet them.

"Good tidings merry men, What a day that this is." He scanned the kobold ever so carefully and smiled. "I hear you are going on an adventure."
Oswald reaches into one of his belt compartments and grabs a rolled up parchment and unrolls it to see WANTED
"Perhaps I can be of assistance, this world is a scary place you know."

Subject: Oswald the odd

It was a dark night when Oswald trudged into town. He was very weak and tired from his journey. Oswald was a small man only standing 4"5 not even taller then some dwarfs. But Oswald didn't let that slow him down, he had become a cleric of Alvareon at a young age and excelled faster than any. However Oswald grew tired of the church seeing them as insignificant and narrow minded so he took to the roads.

He opened the door to the lute and stepped in drawing quite a few looks. Oswald was never on to care about appearances so he always appeared very unkempt and ragged. He wore a simple brown cloak with no sleeves over a basic chain armor that came down into a battle dress that was usually covered in dirt and he always used his quarterstaff as a walking stick. He stepped over to the bar and Ordered a simple cup of tea on a room for the night.

He took a seat near the fire and sipped on his cup of tea while scratching his small beard. Well now what he thought to himself as he gazed into the fire it knowing where his journey would take him.
