Absolutely normal things happening here. Nothing to worry about.

Einar wouldn't mind putting a hook through the brute's nostrils to pull him down, so yeah, let's get him!

And don't worry; Einar's a big boi, but he's a lanky one too. No stomping. Shiv may get a hook to the eye if she's not careful though.

Einar laughs in 6'3"

He's not the tallest of his clan, though. His big bad from his backstory puts Einar to shame at nearly seven feet tall.

And Einar will probably be making all the short jokes he can, since he is a big tree of a man lol

I can send you his character concept if you'd like.

the one-handed bastard at your service.

Lol But Shiv's name is super pretty! I love fancy names paired with interesting nicknames.

WOOOOOHOOOOO I'M IN BABY!!!

Sorry

I am so psyched for this! And allow me to give the swashbuckler Viking his official introduction: Einar Holgeirsson, your friendly Vidarak raider, here for all your trap-checking, pocket-lightening needs.

Einar Holgersson, male human rogue, it is then.

Then meet Einar! ... Who needs a last name. Do Vidarak have Norse-like surnames, or can it be something like "Einar the Hullsmasher?"

Aaaand now I just thought of a blonde Norwegian saying "Hull smash," like the "Yoohoo" guy from Frozen. RIP

Does a Vidarak swashbuckler rogue sound good? Would that suit the setting or be too alien for Northern Etrain?

Then I have another character to stockpile.

I'm thinking I can rearrange my sorcerer to be Felarin-friendly, but I'll aim for a rogue to fill the spaces needed.

I'd appreciate any links that can help me grasp the game.

Any need for a ranger at all? I'm liking the sounds of the people of the Chindari Plains a lot.

Consider me scared. Or is that another kind of wetness between my legs?

But seriously, thank you! I'm really excited to learn. That being said, will access to the Player Handbook or another WotC-official guide do me favours for the ride? Currently all I have is the Essentials Kit and some DnD-related apps on my phone.

Hey! I'm the player from Reddit. Noob to DnD, but more than excited to learn!
