Topic: most unusual/thrilling end to a campaign...
Subject: Most Amazing Ending.....

We had a game where we were fighting Asmodeus as the "ending boss", you might say. My monk, who is about level thirty, if you wish to know, said, "I'll study his movements for about five rounds, then I'll go for him. Meanwhile, you guys keep him busy."
The players protested, obviously, but they did it anyway because their characters trusted my monk with all their hearts. He was almost a father-figure for a few, you might say. Anyway, the battle was not going well at all, everybody was getting massive damage done to them and two of them died.
Finally, my monk went into action. "I am going to..." (rolled 20......20.......20!)"slay thee!"

The DM shook his head, "You leap into action, grabbing Asmodeus' head and twisting it 360 degrees, then rip it off and as his soul was leaving his body, you break it over your knee. Thank you, you just screwed over the heirarchy of the abyss!"
